World In Game Map.

you can download a minimap mod (Wynntils has one too) and that's it. Making one would take a lot of time from the devs, and I think everybody would rather have them fixing the bugs and making new content for us to enjoy.

 

Must admit I'm not a fan of the black background but then again it is a proof of concept..
Would it be an item you get from a shop ingame or would it be part of the hotbar (just like the quest book and soul points?)

Unironically, you aren't supposed to disagree with a suggestion because of mods, as wynncraft is supposed to be stand-alone.

as a proof of concept, it's kind of nice
pressing the offhand key could easily open up a map
it'd need major polishing and all, but yeah, it is possible and would be neat

 

I'm thinking about actually making a polished version, but I would need coding help.
I was trying to do it myself, and failed horribly, which is why I did the proof of concept.
Maybe @Novalescent ??? Maybe...

 

While I am all in for an in-game map (+1 btw), I think implementing it myself for the purpose of this suggestion would take a lot more effort than one would think.

Is it possible to use the recipe book as a place to hold a mini version of the Wynncraft map? If so, that would be an interesting way to implement a map ingame, since it's already in the player's inventory and one click away from accessing.

 

I still don't understand why people would dislike an in-game map for any reason.
