Should this and similar things be implemented into Wynncraft?

You can't really relate to the NPCs in Wynncraft, and I bet many would say it was true. Players oftentimes just choose by which one is better for a build or gives them more emeralds, not with character development or their own view on the matter.

Most times, an NPC is just a glorified messenger, simply stating, there is something that needs to be resolved and go to X to fix it or meet someone. In my humble opinion, Aledar and Tasim were wasted, allowing the player to see how they progressed, and present a unique outlook on some quests. Removing some NPCs, and replacing them with others that have already appeared would do wonders to their character development and just improve the WynnCraft story in general, since a good story has well-thought-out characters, and a few main ones, that actually have a personality.

More quests mentioning or involving the dungeons or Forgery would be great, since we want to know what happens to General Graken after Underworld Crypt, or what happens to Maxie or the Supercomputer after Fallen Factory. Tasim could be a conduit to "learning" a spell from another class, since many enemies use spells from several classes. Aledar has undergone some recent improvements with A Journey Beyond or A Journey Further, but a few quests involving or even mentioning him in Wynn would be great.

I've seen a few posts by Novalescent recently, and his ideas are quite good. Some of these could involve another quest, or even just repurpose a quest altogether, like The Passage, which could allow you to start using Housing because you're a citizen of Troms, and therefore, Wynn. A quick link to his most recent post, involving Guilds, can be found here.

Anyway, I know many have said that a good portion of Gavellian quests and a few Wynnic ones could use improvement, but that's not what this thread is for. Simply put, it is to suggest that the CT include some NPCs more frequently and remove others, to improve character development, get the player to make choices based on their own opinion and not for a build or emeralds, and just make Wynncraft feel more realistic and alive, and feel like a real world that is actually possible, without a few hundred NPCs that are simply blobs of flesh that eventually give you emeralds and XP.

Link to what this is based on right here. Please don't get mad that this is rather similar, this is me simply suggesting what could be done to improve the storyline a bit.

This sort of thing has pretty much been unanimously agreed to be good/needed.
See the thing is, something like Misadventure on the Sea is great because it allows you to explore and do more than what the quest needs you to. I definitely want more quests like that, but that doesn't mean that people will not go onto the Wiki and scout out which options give you the most emeralds, because a lot of people seem to care more about emerald gain rather than enjoyability.

Recurring characters are :like: IF they're not unnecessarily forced into quests where their presence makes close to zero sense

Yes, and I'm not trying to force Alder or Orikal or some other NPC into a quest, I'm just pointing out the lack of character development. Having ??? (The spirit in A Hunter's Calling) appear in a quest to open the Portal to Dern or Orikal appearing in a quest, studying the meteors or ice magic to better understand the effects of the Corruption would be okay and even wanted, since they fit in with what we know of them, and they're in places that make sense for them.
What I'm trying to do for the choices in quests, is to make each option equally viable, and try to get the player to choose based on their own morals and "friendships," and not the CT's morals. I want the choices to be a little more difficult and not random, like the books and wands in the Order of the Grook, so players don't have to check the wiki too often, and hopefully only when they get stuck or have no other options

Although I agree with this, I don't want them to be "forced" to appear (as Sylvia felt for me). Yes, I want to see Aledar, Tasim, Maxie, Korzim and others in new quests, but I don't want to see them too often (like Silvia). Maybe 3-5 quests per character max spaced through levels (so it isn't 3 quests in 2-3 level range)

Also add a neutral opinion to the poll

What's the point of this suggestion? There's no clear "thing" that needs to be done, just an extremely popular opinion.

There's nothing to constructively criticize, and the only response to it is "we know already".

She is a characted suggested in this thread. They put her into 7 quests (and 2 more if they werent too high lv) (Potion Making, Grave Digger, (new quest), Pit of the Dead, Dwelling Walls, Lost Tower and Dark Descent. (But would like to include Misadventure on the Sea and The Mercenary).

I would like to see this; mechanically, Wynncraft's quests are a gold standard to me, but emotionally there is no real connection, nor is there interconnection between most quests.

I do agree with @TrapinchO though, it might be easy to make them feel forced. I'm mentally comparing this to a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game here, because those are also very buggy quest and character focused. They use repeat characters in places where it works, and where it makes sense. They don't just throw them in wildly.

But while writing this, I thought of a game I far prefer to either of those, that, surprisingly to some people, has quests. I'm referring to Dark Souls. In it, rather than being given tasks by NPCs and then doing something and coming back, you meet characters along the way and interact with them, and the way you interact shapes the story for them.

I think something more like this would fit the story here a bit better; meeting other adventurers and occasionally interacting with them, getting pieces of lore, and most importantly, slowly getting to know them and like them. Aledar and Tasim of course fit this perfectly, as would potentially Ragnar or Siegfried.

I have seen requests for Bob to be in a quest (not the reincarnation, but the real guy), citing the Sealed Letters as a source. It would be nice, I'd admit, but it would only fit in in Dern, and depending on what Dern is like, he may not fit, and there would just be a corpse. Sylvia feels a bit forced in some, but in in the Dark Descent, combined with a Secret Discovery and maybe another quest would feel somewhat fitting, but including her in the rest of the quests wouldn't really work. Much of the Gavel lore was wasted, since so much more would have been done with the Dullahan or Nagarath or the Meteors, and yet, they were only used a few times.
