Guilds Guild Objectives - Alternate Way To Obtain Guild Tomes

If guild tomes are 10x rarer and harder to get with a guild objectives system than by holding territories, I'll be more than satisfied. But guild tomes being locked behind holding territories—which are nearly always held by a mega alliance—isn't the way to implement non-cosmetic content. Regardless of whether you think guild tomes should remain how they are or not, it's clear that they've caused friction between players that is 100% avoidable by addressing the desires of a substantial portion of the player base (community guilds). In any case, community guilds should have content aimed at them regardless of if the reward is guild tomes or not. Guild objectives as a suggestion without a specific reward tied to them would be supported by the vast majority of the community. Something similar to this suggestion should be implemented.

 

Haven’t bumped this in a while but since the tome seeking upgrade got buffed in 1.20.2 and there’s still no word about alternate ways to obtain guild tomes I’m bumping it now.

 

If people really have reservations about guild tomes not being war exclusive, then I think it should be a chance drop upon a battle win as well, just so people don't have to hold territories
