"So guys, i left wynncraft for a year and when I came back my inventory was filled with stacks of LE. This was because a mass dupe occurred during my absence and when the dupers got banned their LE was given automatically to random people. I now own every mythic in the game and have rerolled each of them to 100%, plus i purchased EVERY bank page and I got 70 white horses. The game has already completely lost its objective for me because of this, so I'm now going to quit forever. It was a nice 2 days of being back but I literally have nothing else to do now thanks to the amount of LE I obtained."

They could just set a will to an alt account and come back

Hard disagree. Ik there's like 20 other posts that describe this stuff, but I definitely think a firm line should be drawn between banned and not banned players.

Some people's bans are because they duped items, so in turn, this could also cause a ripple of permabans by people possessing duped items. And like other people mentioned, this is similar to the death penalty, not to mention if the items would not be removed from their inventory upon unban, then there would be TONS of Stacks of LE injected into the economy, even if these items could only be redeemed once. They trivialize the whole point of lootrunning (which is arguably not fun, but it is not just rewarding digitally, it also kinda feels mentally rewarding when you finally get a Mythic, in other words, the Destination is not what you will look back on, its the journey that took you there), which throws away usually hours of work.

Not to mention (I think I heard this from 3thereal or some other mod), but all bans in Wynncraft are kinda permanent bans. As he describes it, it's more like a 'Banned until Appeal is approved' system rather than a ban that cannot be appealed under any circumstances (EDIT: ok so I think Wynncraft changed a bit to have temp bans, but if they still have the ban until appeal system, then the above for this paragraph is still valid arguments), so that means that when their appeal is granted, if this was in the game, then all of their progress would be lost item-wise, and these people could have genuinely innocent and they lost like 20 stacks of LE as well as a lot of other Mythics and legacy items (Seeker's Aid, Mask of the Spirits, etc.).

tl;dr: artificially inflates the economy if the items do not get removed-removed from the bank, trivializes lootrunning and other money-making methods, in other words, death penalty.
