I like this system and I gave it "Yes" in the poll, but I also like how when some people come online if they are slightly inactive players or if they don't know me but I need to message them or something. I don't know how to suggest what I am saying I just think it would be good to know when certain players are on for practicality. Also I bet some people would be too blind to accept the request

for checking if someone is online you can do /find player_name

And while you're right that some people wouldn't notice the requests, you would still be able to check out everyone who sent you these by doing /friends pending and also the same thing can still happen with the current system where you friend someone and they don't notice and don't friend you back and while you did friend them, they didn't so then it fells just awkward lol.

Ok that /find player_name command cleared things up. I like this system, no flaws

I voted no, because I like the friend system as it is at the moment. I like to help people out, and often they want to friend me, and hmu when they need help next. However, I don't like a clogged friend list, and keep it to people that I either know irl or have spend a long time working together with. So I like that you can friend 1 way.

    this is
    1: an odd use case
2: /find is still a thing, and like "I don't like a clogged friends list" isn't rly a good reason. I don't see the need to friend someone aevery time you wanna help them, just give them your discord and be done with it (which from experience is much more helpful as they can msg in advance as well)

Unfortunately, I think they can still use the /find command if they really wanted to. Not entirely sure though so don't come at me if it's not the case '^-^

I just went and tested it, /ignore blocks chat messages and private messages, but ignored people can still friend you and if they already have you as a friend nothing changes either

I suppose that's somehow understandable, but you are a very rare case, most people won't and don't use it this way, it still needs to be changed. Also, people who will need help from you can always either contact you on discord (if you have one), or you can just get over the fact that you will have "clogged" friend list. I personally have over 100 people on my friend list and I don't have any problems navigating through it, because those irl or close friends that I have spent a long time with, will always stand out no matter how many friends I have added. Also most of the time, I wouldn't even need to look up these people in my friend list, because I know them so well, that I know their nicknames.
