If you don’t mean the wynncraft shop, which in game shops? Where? For what currency?

If this can be allowed into endgame content it’d be broken
If not then it’s basically useless
Also, how much health would they have? How much damage would they have? What about spells?

Your suggestion needs much more details than just “I think they should add temporary fighters you can buy”; otherwise it’s just not going to be taken seriously. For example, look at @Nepeta Leijon ‘s thread about skill point perks

Just because it’s been done in other RPGs doesn’t mean it doesn’t need detail. Most game designers have a pretty extensive balancing process for these kinds of things because if they don’t it could break the game very easily.

Even with a full team of full time, paid workers with extensive knowledge on coding and their own personal, customized engine, it’s still really hard to get these kinds of things right. For example, you’d need to code for targeting priority so the companion doesn’t go attacking some lowly minion while getting mauled by the boss. You’d also need to make sure the companion still follows you if you stray too far from it.

If you’ve ever done The Canyon Guides quest, you’d know that our ai for following you is insanely finicky. That’s because we don’t have a full team. We have two coders, Jumla and JPresent, who have their hands full as is, and a group of part time volunteers, who are busy making content that would expand the game with balanced and interesting content. They don’t have time to think up and fill in every little detail for every suggestion they accept, let alone every suggestion that’s posted. Which is why you need to put in detail, and not just the basics.
