This suggestion is poorly thought out. It is the opposite of a quality of life suggestion (i.e, better banks[not actually a suggestion anymore woo], backpacks, etc).
I'm going to break down the various identifiers and their level ranges:

This one's actually not bad, since no one goes back to the starting areas.

This is absolutely horrible. If, say, I get a legendary in my daily crate (since trading unidentified items is now bannable or something) and I'm lvl 100, I'd have to go all the way to Ahmsord. There are a few ways to get to ahmsord, the first being scrolls, except scrolls are fuckin' expensive and the scroll merchant is on the other side of the city from the bank. This is a huge time waster, considering I'm probably going to id the legendary and then sell it to the item buyer. Also if you don't have an ahmsord scroll it's a pain to get to the city. Going to cinfras and then going to ahmsord wastes at least 5 minutes (compared to the easy act of walking like 5 blocks to the detlas identifier [as it is currently]). Going to jofash is also a bit hard. I haven't yet found a jofash seaskipper pass (although maybe im just missing something) so they're not available in nemract or selchar.
While you could argue that people just don't care about daily crates or would hang out in ahmsord more (not happening), it's stupid to remove the convenience that Detlas offers.
Convenience in Detlas: The bank, identifier, scroll merchant and item buyer are literally like within 20 blocks of each other and going from the scroll merchant (one end of town) to the item buyer (other end of town) takes all of 5 seconds. Ahmsord, on the other hand, has its merchants spread over 2 sides of the town. Going from the bank to the scroll merchant takes about 30 seconds, idk where even the item buyers are (because there has never been before a need to even identify items in this town), and the identifier is also far away from the bank.
On rodoroc: the bank, item buyer and identifier are all on the same side of town, but the scroll merchant is on the other side of town (and pot merchant in between). Rodoroc contains the easiest way to get to the best solo grinding spot in the game (for high-levels). So, naturally, you'd want to go there often (as there's not always a csst party plus csst got nerfed).

Literally useless. You go to the ravines for all of one quest (passage doesnt count as it's literally there for the end of wynn d but at that point you're either taking a scroll back to troms or going to gavel to do some quests. the passage is convenient tho, but its not relevant for this discussion). What, exactly, do you need to identify? No one's going to run a gauntlet of pigmen (who are op until lvl 30 where you can actually kill more than 3 of them without getting ganked and dying) just to identify stuff where it would be so much easier and convenient just to go to nemract.
this is mostly fine, except you can't id legendaries you have to go to rymek (which no lvl 26 is going to just to id their detlas' legacy or something)
This is useless. I can't think of anything where you'd go to selchar to identify a thing (except for maybe like abyss galoshes which are over-level for selchar anyway). It's far more convenient to go to almuj since youre heading there anyway.

Again, this is fine but you can't id legendaries.
This is.. the second most useless town with a spawnpoint (the most useless is lexdale god i hate that town). Only one quest, canyon condor in it and there's no reason to id stuff there except ITS THE ONLY PLACE TO ID LEGENDARIES EXCEPT FOR TROMS (near that lvl).
'cause letting 2 major cities not be able to id legendaries is fine /s
no one visits these places. ever.
oh, sorry, you got an archangel? well go id it in cinfras
oh wait you can't even scroll there because you haven't done fallen delivery
guess you'll have to go to gelibord
    waste 5 minutes
    1) no one goes to pirate cove
if you get a legend while questing or some shit around gelibord, go to cinfras
because it's not, like, 2 minutes away or anything.
the only mythic you'll be able to id is apoc
which is fair enough i guess since- oh wait if you lootrun in corkus you have to go to cinfras to id it (I mean honestly who's grinding for mythics)
you're doing quests and/or csst, why bother even id-ing stuff until you get to a good lvl to do freezing heights?
oh, sorry, you got a strati lootrunning or grinding (lucky you) around rodoroc (or corkus, but it's a strati, so..)? go to fuckin' ahmsord which is actually really hard to get to from molten heights (and corkus is on the other side of the world).
literally the only place that can id everything
also ahmsord's design, while nice-looking is not the most practical
    This is not a benefit.
It forces people to go to places that they shouldn't need to go, forces players to enter areas that are too-high level for them and is mostly an annoyance designed to waste 5 minutes of your time. And when grinding is such a bore that you want to finish it asap, this simply adds more time onto what is one of the least fun things to do in the game. The best shortcuts are going in a straight line towards your destination, unless you're in COTL or sky islands, and then you have to actually follow the winding path. There is no reason to go to new places, you're going to go there anyway. There is also no incentive to go exploring. It is simply a major annoyance that only serves to make the game worse. The only good thing I can say about this suggestion is that it makes sense in the lore.

    EXACTLY
    MAIN ISSUE, RIGHT HERE
also the fact that you have to go out of your way to id legendaries and mythics

Yes there are some exaggerations (like 'no one goes to pirate cove') but they're used to enforce my point. There are not a lot of reasons to go to pirate cove once you've finished Beneath the Depths (the only one I can think of is to look at the cool architecture).

From a lore standpoint this makes sense, but from a gameplay standpoint, this is suicide.

    o rite the suggestion
It would be very annoying to id stuff, because let's say little locky just found a 96-100 mythic wand in rodoroc
he's races to the ider but alas, the identifier was too stupid to id the new item.
Unfortunately, Little Locky has never been to Ahmsord, so he has no scrolls or any way to get there. He now sits in the corner of rodoroc wondering when he will be able to id his wand, because he was a mage and he wanted to use it

    come on
