Every Class Should Have A Spell To Remove Fire

Yes, this is exactly why they purposefully buffed lava and fire damage just so it could hurt players, because they wanted it to be cosmetic. Of course.

 

Thats not my point, correct me if im wrong because I dont pay attention to small changes such as damage buffs, however Im pretty sure they buffed fire damage because, pre gavel armor gave... armor points, the Gavel update brought in the potiental to have upwards of 10K+ HP therefor the fire does pretty much no damage. Which admittedly is a fine buff but it was overdone a bit and leaves classes who cant take it off in a slight disadvantage, take it as you will this makes Mage significantly easier, which also makes it beginner friendly. My point is that youre saying this change if implented is the same as saying bascially remove lava and fire, but there is a lot moreuse to them saside from hurting the player, hence why I brought up Molten Heights, its a volanic wasteland for fuck sakes, there needs no players and itll still be filled to the brim with lava, and fire, its not solely there for damage. Or the quest Belly of the Beast youre told to follow the fire trail, its a way to guide players as well as a sign of the dragon's path of destruction, once again, cosmetics.

 

I meant fire and lava damage. Sorry if that wasn't clear, though it really should've been, because it doesn't take much to know that literally removing fire and lava would remove the point of an entire section of the map.

 

So youre basically saying Molten Height is meant to damage players? And i was refering to fire and lava damage.

From what I understand, your point is that there's more to lava and fire than just the damage, and I get that, but now you're saying you were talking about the damage the whole time?

Molten Heights is supposed to be dangerous, yes. It's the second-highest levelled area in the map, behind the Sky Islands which has instant death voids all around. So yes, it is meant to damage players. Of course, the fire and lava is also there to create an atmosphere and look good.

I actually had this idea the other day and was planning on posting it as soon as I stopped procrastinating. Perhaps it could be required to do a quest first, similar to wisdom potions?

 

Or maybe slightly nerf Fire? Not as much as the old Wynn where it was completely harmless, but at least to the point where it's not more dangerous than the mobs near it.

i jumped in lava and stayed there for 3 seconds but i'm still pretty far from being death. i can understand this one more but i dont think that you normally jump in a ocean in lava where you cant escape in less than i would say 5seconds.
i still think that not every class needs a spell to remove fire because you could easily drink a healing potion when you jumped in lava

 

personally i think it would be better to nerf mage so it cant put out fire :/

 

Mabye it's just me, but sometimes lava causes damage faster then even lv 100 potions can heal it

 

i never had that problem on wynncraft but if thats the case i can understand it! but lava makes damage itself and then you burn for a while so a fire removing spell would do nothing against lava

no offense, but if you have a decent amount of health you should be able to survive lava and fire. It only takes half a heart every time it burns you.

 

and it lasts so long that on my 8000+ hp warrior it can take 2000-3000
