So, is it because of the forced ditching of 1.8 compatibility or something else? it would be very helpful if y'all'd ACCUALLY would explain your point, instead of pulling a "liberal in an argument with a white, straight man who's winning."

As to voting this option, I was expecting a civil argument as to why you think as such. And thank you for being civil with your choice of vote.

 

Oh. My. God. This. There's so much detail, so much attention, so... much. I love every aspect, and this new content is flawlessly described and makes my mind salivate- I LOVE getting new spells and abilities.

But.

Think about Wynn. Think hard about Wynn. The whole feel is a beautiful, archaic world one with nature and magic. It pains me SO MUCH to say- this idea would not fit in with the rest of Wynncraft.

I say this is great, and you have definitely outdone yourself, I mean, i'f Ganon liked this, it's good. You got a supporter in me.

 

Well, yes, the true of getting your arm forcidly fipped off from a bear then replaced with a steampunk Gaige arm is a dark turn for this game (despite how oddly badass that sounds, which isn't what Wynn is to extent), but that is merely one of many possible aplications for this thing.

Hell, it could just be a oversized glove in beta testing (in a lore's sence), it doesn't matter as much. However the quest outline i provided gives an interestingly different feel from other quests. Maybe it's that Dark teen phase, but different is good in some ways.

Plus, this gives Corkus a stronger presence in the game, give in that THEY GAVE YOU A ARM AFTER IT WAS RIPPED OFF. The Villagers of Gavel would be too greedy to care, humans of Wynn are too busy with their War, Dern's... well, dern, and Fruma is in hiding.

Either way, thanks for your support. And apologies if my Dark teen/playing too much Borderlands 2 thing is interfering with the idea's greatness.

 

Bumping the thread

So, yeah. I may stop bumping the thread, maybe it's cause of my break from wynn since i've got my assassin in the level gap. But, i maybe playing with some friends running around with the donor classes, maybe ACTUALLY PLAYING Warrior. That is under the condition of all sorts of things and whatnot.

Consider updates on hiatus, and bumps limited until further notice.

 

-Portal gun

Creates a portal with left click, right click makes the other portal. Can travel to both ( has a block limit so you can't put one in gavel and one in wynn )

 

I definitely was thinking of a Portal-gun like thing, but then that Elytra joke from the reveal thread in 2015 came to mind, so i scrapped this as a possible ability. And I am also moving away from x% of max capacity since a smaller battery would then be more worth while.

Might i suggest the block cap be 16 blocks under all 3 cords (unlike the glide) and 250 EMB Life per portal. Would serve it's job alike the arcker's escape, getting to those easter-eggy places but for all classes and facing where you want to go. Plus the 16 block cap would still provide reason for using the travel spells (apart from assassins).

 

So, here again the bump this thing.

The portal gun suggestion (by @Muhuru ) may not be accepted to the thread, as it's really just a teleport spell.

To all reading this: Consider the end of this thread arriving, as I've been taking my break from wynn with nothing other than grinding or begging friends (that i don't have) to play with me to train up my donor classes. Might join the Content team to atleast stay with the community, but I'm unsure about it at this time.

Yes, sad indeed. But hey, hopes are i can enact discussion as life support for the idea; No point to bump something for 3 months when no one cares enough to comment on it let alone vote in the poll.

Anyways, to keep it short, I've never been supportive of any suggestion that adds a game-changing feature that requires extreme amounts of balancing when we already have balancing issues, because balancing stuff can be a real bitch. This would likely also take a long time to implement, which could delay an update or two.

Of course, if it weren't for the extreme amount of work and dedication that was put into the suggestion I probably would've voted lower, it's one of the best game-changing suggestions I've seen, I'll give you that.

On an unrelated-ish topic...

Did you seriously manually organize that list from oldest member to newest? Or did Xenforo somehow do that for you?
Either way, I do find it funny how low mine is compared to everyone else.

 

I voted 50/50 because it would be a pretty hard feature to add especially because it requires updating versions and making a ton more mechanics. I like the idea but I feel like the devs have to much on there plates already we don't need to give them more work.

Also in endgame the elytra thing won't be very useful imo maybe in the CoTL stage of the game.

 

Firstly, i did enable viewing of who voted, just click where the number of votes is on the right and you'll see them. And onyour unrelated topic, that was just how it was organized in the poll.

And I understand, some game-changing ideas can be questionable and bad, but i thank you for you highest vote for a suggestion like this.

Well, seeing as 1.8 is Soon™ to be phased out anyway this idea would have that issue gone. Plus, if this were to be a coming feature, i'd expect it to be a stand alone thing, maybe with a few unrelated quests sprinkled in. This actually gives me an idea to add two more options to the poll: "Would be a pain for the devs, [but I like it]/[and i wouldn't want the idea anyway]."

I agree with the elytra bit, but this could be useful for escaping death by void in the Sky Islands. And to give this at level 80 would be too early for this.

I feel this would be okay to be added now that it was confirmed that they will be upgrading versions soon (TM) and also I would love to let my assassin use a spin attack in vanish and not be set out of it for the first spin attack, but if you think about it you will need to punch twice instead to get unvanished so maybe just a even greater damage increase would be better?
