    400 blocks is still pretty long, don't you think? You'd only need to be 40 blocks above ground with a full charge to go that far (according to the MC Wiki, anyway). Even for level 100, it's too much. Perhaps 80 EMB per 10 blocks, resulting in 260 blocks at full charge? Even at 90, it's 160 blocks. If you think that's too little, perhaps 64 per 10 blocks? About 312 blocks at full charge at 100, which is still a third of Gavel.

    Keep in mind that the entirety of Corkus is about 1200 blocks. Flying over a third of a province? Not really balanced, by itself. However, what about the cooldown? If heightened to several minutes, it could be viable to have it go a longer distance.

    Well, i just ranting to myself on something i think my work:

    Hard distance of 100 blocks traveled on the x and z cord, and it's 10 EMB per block. Cooldown of 30 seconds starting once a solid block is landed on (won't start while on your slow way down).

    But then steps in my idea for passive recharge rates as a payed upgrade (found 5% max cap every minute would take 20 min, but it would only charge during the day and could not work in boss rooms) to screw this up a little bit.

    Speaking of which, thoughts on that passive recharge upgrade? Cost would be 8 LE but i think 16 LE could also be fair. Was a two type thing but upgrade seemed better.

    100 blocks seems fine, if it's a hard cap. That would then be 1000 EMB per flight, which is more than fair. Having passive recharge at 5% every minute during the day would work fine, though it may be just a bit much. It'll take one and a half mc days for it to fully recharge, which is a bit short, but for the trade-off it's fine. I think 30 seconds is still a bit fast for such a good travel option. Perhaps a minute flat?

    As for the recharge; it seems better as a trade-off. Regen for lower totals is fine. If you want, you could add small upgrades for the regen (up to 10% per minute), and make those around 12-20 LE.

    Edited the thread!

    Comming in a few days hopefully: Guns and Rockets and M15!

    Any ideas for future abilities? Think that Tinker/operate and/or Lifesaver should just be part of the guantlet package and you get to pick 1-3 ablities with them? Any concepts for a turret option?

    I'm open for suggestions and additions with credit, so if you got an idea, feel free to mention it!

    Here's a few lightning themed ideas -

    Shock Attack
    • "Increase your weapon's overall power with the power of electromagic!"
    • EMB cost is (weapon's normal damage/10) per hit. For example, a 500 damage weapon (without boosts) takes 50 power.
    • This ability multiplies any weapon's damage by 1.5. It also increases attack speed by 1. If the weapon is already at the highest tier of attack speed, it does increase any further.
    • Does not have any cooldown.

    Power Attack
    • "Unlocks your weapon's true potential! WITH ELECTRICITY!"
    • EMB cost is 75 per second.
    • Ultimate Attack beefs up your weapon's normal attacks, making them extremely strong.
      • Warrior attacks two times per strike instead of one
      • Archer now pierces 25% of enemy's defense
      • Mage's attacks now have a much larger AOE
      • Assassin can now attack while cloaked
    • The ability lasts 10 seconds. 2 minute cooldown.

    Lighting Zap
    • "Zap an enemy from practically any range! Also stuns the enemy for 2 seconds!"
    • EMB cost is (10*[range/4]). (attacking an enemy at 50 blocks away would take 125 power.)
    • With this ability equipped, you can click on any enemy at a range up to 100 blocks to zap them. Zapping an enemy takes away 5% of their HP and stuns them for 2 seconds, preventing them from moving and attacking. Boss monsters do not experience any HP damage and are stunned for only 1 second.
    • Cooldown of 10 seconds.

    Stun Fist
    • "Give any enemy in front of you the shock of their life!"
    • EMB cost is 50 per enemy stunned.
    • Affecting up to 10 blocks in front of you, Stun Fist stuns any enemy for 5 seconds. Only stuns boss monsters for 2 seconds. If you stand still or sneak for 3 seconds before attacking, this will also do neutral damage equal to 10% of your HP, but will take an additional 200 power.

    Firstly: Thanks for being to first to comment an idea for an ability.

    Secondly: I think Power Attack and Stun Fist. Lightning zap and Shock attack seem like something that would be exclusive for Lightning builds. Which I have a turn off for.

    But let's get to what i like, Stun Fist is a good idea in the sence of stunning enemies (with electromagic), however Mages can already do this, which is the only thing against this idea.

    But Power Attack is one idea i like because of boosting a class's standard skills based on what they do. Maybe rather than random enchantments without a clear equal pattern, maybe boosts like these which match each class's usage:
    • Warrior: Takes in 75% of enemy damage
    • Archer: +1% extra damage fro every block between the player and the damaged mob, effect is traced on the arrow (if effect ends before the arrows land they still have the effect, just new ones cannot be made until able to)
    • Mage: 25% bonus damage from spells
    • Assassin: 25% bonus damage to mobs not facing the player (if possible, just like Zer0's backstab from Borderlands 2)

    Once I am given apporval by @Dastreyah to use his suggestion with credit It'll be put in. I also am planning on adding a few ideas from friends who've never heard of this server and see what I get from them.

    Maybe I'll develope that quest more, which is going to be the monster ripping your arm off.

    Sounds like a deal.
    In addition -
    - Assassin should still be able to attack while cloaked while having the 25% bonus for backstab chance.
    - Shock Attack should have its name changed to Strengthen Attack as it sounds better and doesn't just fit for only lightning builds
    - I'm fine with Lightning Zap not being included, as it wasn't my best idea.
    Everything else is good IMO.

    Assassin attacking while invis could be too op, maybe not as much if this ability is restricted to Tier III (level 100) gauntlets, and the name for Shock attack could be like "Laser Ball" with the joke being "What gauntlet wouldn't fire some form of laser?"

    nice idea, but wynncraft can't just hit a 1.9+ only button if they were to change the wynncraft server version then a lot of redstone and command blocks would be messed.

    Your implying that Wynn's going to be forever stuck with having to keep 1.8 compatibility for as long as it lasts? That is something I doubt heavily, and it's going to happen with or without the idea becoming in-game.

    Quest is being wrighten with more detail, however i'm wondering on two things:

    1) To just add it to this thread or make a mew thread for it

    2) To then make it with all the characters and green text, or to just give a general idea about it.

    Oh yeah, beta name for this is "Envoy III" how original, am i right?

    So this week is finals week and whatnot, which is why there hasn't been an update in a while.

    I'll make it today to add the outline for the quest, add my tweaked version of Dastreyah's suggestions. The update will come at around 3-4 PM CST.
