Daily "/shout",amount Depending On Your Rank.

I think 1/2/3 shouts per week is fine for VIP, VIP+, HERO.
As for normal players they could get bimonthly shout. Also the shout shouldn't be stackable.

 

how about 1/month for normal players? 2 month is quite a long time

 

I feel like either that shouts should be like annual or not added at all. We already have a lot of communications tbh. Forums, trade market, in game chatting, discord.

Having shouts monthly is still.... way to much. The player base is really big. Plus, people might use this advantage and use alts to get more shouts for free.

It can mean both but is primarily used to mean twice a month, not sure where you got that bias definition from. This is why you shouldn't rely on the internet for information and think for yourself and grab a dictionary

 

Good job making your reply to a tongue-in-cheek post as antagonistic as humanly possible. My definition is not biased. There is no indication it is and you have not explained it why. Within the context there is no reason to assume either definition over the other (though it does seem weird to give people a shout twice a month instead of just giving two at once). Maybe you should learn to stop assuming the worst of people before accusing them of not thinking for themselves.

I never said it could not be used either way. My post is literally saying it can be used either way. That's what the post is. That's why I screenshot something that gives both definitions.

 

Oh I get ya, that's a fair answer. Just that what many people mean when they say it as "twice", like bi-annually always means twice a year, and "bi" is latin meaning two, but it can be used to mean every two months as well yeah, just not in the original context of what that guy said as he was replying to someone else contracting what they were saying and putting forward his idea of twice a month if I understood it

 

My guess is that the OP mean every two months, since, as I said in my reply, giving someone shouts twice a month instead of just two a month seems strange and they'd probably just say two a month if that were the case. In my experience I've also heard it used as once in two months quite a bit more often, but I guess we won't really know until the OP says what it is.

I feel like one shout per week / two weeks for Heros and one shout per month for every other donator rank would be manageable, with it stacking up to no more than two bombs. Hero rank going by my dollar (AUD) is a bit over 100 dollars, you'd think for this amount of money something like shouts would be available to you in some form.

 

That is a really difference between HERO and other ranks. Would you take 3 weeks for HERO and month for others?

 

Would only work out to 2 shouts per month for Hero and 1 for other ranks, considering Hero is double the price of VIP + it sort of makes sense. Continuing on that, people who purchase Hero are more likely to be older and more mature players (not everyone has nearly a hundred bucks to drop on a free minecraft server), lessening the potential of spam / derogatory shout messages. That only a guess, and there may of course be no correlation between rank and age.

 

And VIP+ costs twice as much as VIP, so they should get twice as much shouts
