i think i know where this is going, and i'm perfectly ok with it.

I think the more important question is more on the group that seems to control the dungeons, the hooded figures that sell dungeon scrolls, and guard the Nii and Uth runes. It's also worth noting that the cryptkeeper in Troms also has this skin. Did the people from the crypt establish some sort of corruption cult? What even is the Forgery? Who are the villagers that guard the dungeons and sell items for beating them? Why is there a space in the Forgery clearly intended for the corrupted Fallen Factory when we are given no indication of the corruption ever affecting Corkus? How do the corrupted gates work? This is an incredibly complex subject that we have only scratched the surface of. Or maybe it's just a way to add higher level dungeons without creating new content...
