HUICH? What's another C in there?

In my hypothetical "Completionist" gamemode - same type of thing as Hardcore, (Ultimate) Ironman, Craftsman, and (permanent) Hunted - you can only get experience from the Content Book. Mobs will never give it; neither will dungeons or raids, after the first time you do them. Possibly all Content Book items are weighted, experience-wise, exactly the same; some internal list says that you will get Y XP from completing your 30th-50th CB items, and then Z for the next 50. Not necessarily, though some alteration to the Content Book's experience rewards would probably be warranted.

Only getting experience from the Content Book is similar to not being able to get mob XP, but not exactly the same, because you can't grind raids or dungeons either. You have to be a completionist.

There is a hole in Completionist balance - the professions. These do not have content. Rumor has it that they were developed specifically to waste endgame players' time in an age before Raids and Lootruns. Gathering professions have miniquests; crafting professions have nothing. This incidentally means that Completionists are forced to do the gathering professions, since they have a lot of Content Book items attached. This could be resolved by having Completionists get profession XP alongside combat XP, meaning that their professions essentially move in lockstep with their level - but this would make Completionism by far the fastest way to level professions. Because... they suck so bad right now, my god.

Due to this, I'd say that if there was any time to add a Completionist gamemode, it would have to be alongside a rework or at the very least rebalance of profession leveling - or after the Content Book gets bloated enough to give more XP than is needed to reach 120, at which point Completionist would be nerfing its XP gain rather than buffing. Otherwise, Completionist would be a blessing, not a curse - not really what the gamemodes are about. (Though Hunted is a blessing if you're lucky enough to not get PVPed during your run.)
