World Complete Rework Of Bob's Lore

Doubt. If you look at the map, the olm should technically be strengthened by darkness/ unaffected. if we go off of the assumption and based from RoL pt 4 (the cutscene with the two worlds) Gavel is the light's domain and SE is dernic's domain. As the elfs (the light race) can use light magic, it would make more sence if the olm had dark magic (however this wouldn't work since the darkness appeared from nothingness so fast they would have never become accustomed to using it, so most likely they are just not affected by darkness)

Also doubt. Olms are grey. We know this from Bob and SE lore. Both martyn and Bob are any shade of grey. I know for a fact that martyn would recognise that bob was olmic so this sorta falls thru. Also martyn knowing that the olm would b weak to dark (if we use your idea) would still tell Bob as it is vital information.

The part where bob seals away the beast/eye i can say is like 99% true. I have alot of evidence and ima share it

Heres how:
At the end of AJF we sacrifice aledar in order to open the seal on EO. A voice then tells us we will blind the ancient seer, good luck. Most people pass this off as aledar or just the game, however this would be false. Aledar in the beginning of the questline states that they dont know what is up there. So then how would he knows it was a "seer". He wouldn't, ruling out Aledar. The text is also green showing its NPC dialogue not game dialogue (thats grey). That leaves only bob. Bob from the discoveries around him tells that we went to SE and went to fight the eye/beast. Most likely since bob was only lvl 75 at the time (estimation of his lvl due to his involvement with his story aspects, this is sorta weak but bob is also a lvl 75 boss fight, and we know this "bob" is a fake) He was beaten by the eye. In an attempt to save the province from the eyes reign he sealed it in a magical spell until a better warrior could destroy it for good (the player). This would fit in with the dialogue since he would know it was the eye. As a spirit he would also be able to watch over us. (he most likely found us when we beat his fake self, and then just started keeping a tab on us) He would know we are more powerful and strong enough to take on the eye. Hence him saying "And the Hero shall blind the ancient seer, good luck" Also, with the argument of bob went Into dern, that isnt right either. Both beasts have control over who can enter and exit their realm, (RoL pt 3 with lari not being able to enter until we are ready). The dern beast probably kept him out so he wouldn't have to deal with him/run the risk of bob getting out and telling the world whats over there, giving more of a challenge for dern to beat. Bob also would have had to make it past the eye. If the eye still stood how would he have gotten thru? TLDR: Bob is the only one who makes logical sense on who locked the eye away.

Dullahan dosnt server the darkness or corruption. He is just corrupt. Most likely he is getting revenge on those who wronged him. Dulla is more of a learning stone on how corruption is formed with Light and dark clash. He is more there to teach the player of the consequences.

Side points: I feel like it would make more sence if Bob was trained in Troms by skien since troms at the time of bobs addition to the game was the endgame city. However, I feel like bob should def have more depth, We should see his failures/successes. Right now we just get "bob mom die, bob go train, bob get old, bob go die"
Instead try "bob's psyche was damaged from his mothers death. His journey is his coping/acceptance of his mother's death and standing vanguard for wynn so what happened to him will not happen again to another child. He uses his misfortune and pain as a tool for protection rather than a tool for hate (corruption arcs are good tho so we should see bob get enraged by this death at times as he fights his demons from his past). Bob then realizes there is more to this journey that he has traveled down and becomes curious as to find the truth to this suffering. He later learns that the ture roots of his pain are Dern. He travels to SE and learns of his past, his olmic bloodline. He then realizes he must defeat the eye and end this suffering once and for all. However soon to late he understands that he is not ready for the eye and is going to die. He uses his own power to seal away the eye in order to protect wynn in a final stand. The Hero (us) then emerges and carries out Bob's legacy and finishes his mission, we defeat the eye. Bob's story and purpose is complete. As bob, much like Lari acts as a path maker for us rather than a stand-alone hero.

Also I love how the ending for AJF is rn with aledar's death, however i feel like it should be just a tiny bit more personal. Maybe while your walking up to the altar he reminisces with you about your beginnings, about how you started together, your joineries, struggles, victories. This overall with add more of a connection to the character, only for you to violently kill him. (yay sobbing time)

then how do you explain the seal? how do you explain the eye still standing? how do you explain the fact that we cannot go thru the portal but bob could? That whole theory has alot of holes in it

If the eye was able to destroy an entire nation (olm) and dern had control over the light why would they protect it by locking it away? that makes no tactical sense.

I dont understand how the eye still standing relates to the eye. Gateway Island isnt the only way into dern. We know this from bak'al jumpin in and out like a tourist. The gateway island is just the major portal, like in light forest.

Ok. If you have control over your enemy. Like 60% of the landmass in the world and also have a gaze over it all. Would you need protection from ants? Like humans to dern are just pests. As evident with the olm and how the corruption is yeeting wynn I dont think dern has a threat. THe light is cowering from orphion's sickness and the rest of the world is just trying to survive. Also Dern has not really been a defensive type. Its more aggressive. The light is the defensive right now.

And also a random soldier just kill it. Naked. Only with a bow and so little accessories.

i don't think you understand what im saying. Im saying that if you're THEE most powerful being in the world (from their eyes) defending yourself is important but not #1. Being able to dominate all is #1, and back the original statement IF bob didn't say that line who did? dern wouldn't wish you luck that's dumb. Aledar doesn't he doesn't know the eye is the eye. Yes but my point still stands. If you are already extremely well defended why would you worry about even MORE defense when you would strengthen your attack? The eye is extremely well defended as is. Its on the tallest tower in the game. Is locked behind a mountain range. has a whole "continent" protecting it. Thousands of defending mobs and rooms in the tower to get to it. and finally it itself is very strong. Dern's biggest issue rightnow would be preparing an invaison/assault upon light to finnaly kill it for once, or to overtake wynn since they are stressed from the corruption

Yes and this is why a group of people on Mage Island can get enough info to know quite a lot about SE and get right at its doors (where Aledar dies only because of his stupidity...)
