I really like this suggestion, especially @LittleSupre 's version.

Why not just have it so that when you hover over another item it will compare it with your current gear and give + / - identification so like .

So if I equipped this helmet :
Helmet Lv.1
+10 Noob
-100 Cool ness

And hover over this helmet
Helmet Lv.2
+20 Noob
- 90 coolness

it will show something like
Helmet Lv.2
+20 Noob ( +10 noob )
- 90 Coolness (+10 Coolness )

"This is already on Wynn Enhanced," isn't a viable reason for not adding something, nor is it something that needs to be mentioned out of the 'Your Works' section.
1 - It's not an official server sponsored modpack, so it's inapplicable to suggestions on the server.
2 - They can't make it official since the maker refuses to put it on anything other than the cancer that is Curse.
3 - This suggestions isn't exactly what it does, therefore you still can't use it as a reason, he could be suggesting a change to the current system on wynn enchanced if it were official.
