World Coloured Name Tags

He wants ranked users to have coloured names above their head... So if he's a VIP+ he wants his name to be aqua above his head.

 

Ah ok. Well that's pretty easy to program. I'm fine with that!

 

YT never had it, I'll explain why.

It's only Builders, GMs, CMDs, Moderators and Admins/Devs who has it, since in build server we register our names in certain scoreboard teams, for builders, GMs and CMDs it's set as greenish blue, Mods have their names orange and Admins have it red, when they update the server, they take the stats from build server taking scoreboard info with it, so that's why you see it coloured, YTs never joined build server (as far as I know) so they don't have it.

No special plugins integrated :)

Well, in theory, you could create a scoreboard that automatically adds players to teams based on rank using a plugin on the actual game, but I dunno if that'd work with Wynn. The alternative is to have all ranked players join the build server, which would be really bad.

 

Build server doesn't take back from main server (it's a backup-like as far as I know), only main and GM servers that take from build server.

In other hand, it is possible, when you submit a donation a command that sets your rank should also add you to the scoreboard so that your name (above your skin) will be coloured, but what about VIP(+)s before this suggestion .-.?
