    I have always wondered what would pinball look like in Wynncraft. Perhaps this class idea could be the answer I have been seeking for.

    Alright, seriously this time; a few questions regarding this class has formulated meanwhile I have been reading the main post and the comments. I'll get straight to the questions:


    How would this class be useful for teamfights?

    First of all, from what I have read so far, this class seems to rely heavily on knocking opponents away. However as nice as getting knocked 10 blocks away sounds on paper, in practice it's... not. Almost every spell knocks mobs away in a way or another. Now how would this be relevant to the original question? Simple! The problem is that when being in teamfights, this class seems like it would enforce it's allies to always reposition themselves according to itself. In other words: warriors with their already short ranges would have to run around to catch up with the knocked away mobs, mages would miss like 50% of their meteors, archers would always have to reposition themselves to get hit as less times as possible by mobs "flying around" and assassins would have almost the same problem as warriors. Overall, it seems to really enforce teammates to run up and down all the time, which isn't really efficient, especially in the mages' before mentioned case where meteors go bye, bye.

    How would this class be useful for taking down groups?

    Well yes, if, let's assume, you can't fight with your teammates because they consider you to be a troll, then fighting alone is the second option... however... as mentioned before, this class relies heavily on knockback (or crowd control, as you would say). To prove my point, I'll bring up another interesting topic: wars. Yes, wars. In wars, the player has 20 minutes to either alone or with a team take down up to one thousand mobs. As comparison, for a class such as spell warrior it already takes a while to finish it alone; this class, which seems to be good for taking down one opponent at a time (Strafe + Strike; also the other spells which knock everyone else away), could be the sub-optimal of sub-optimal for such a task.

    Problem nr. 1 + nr. 2

    Perhaps you could just fight a portion of the mobs while the group takes care of the other. Yes, but if we take problem nr. 2, then it is rather not worth to use this class at all for this purpose, to begin with. Of course, one can't expect an archer to be a great melee attacker, however if the other 4 classes can do this task in one way or another, this one should be no exception either. Of course, you might ask why am I "ignoring" the other aspects of the game as wars are not the only thing to talk about. It's another topic to talk about, although the answer is obvious: They are part of the game either.

    Why so much RNG?

    As you stated before, the damage dealt with this class' spells is RNG. Taking in consideration the previously mentioned points where: it trolls teammates in teamfights, becomes really inefficient in group fights due to appearing to be able to only target effeciently one opponent at a time and on top of these it's RNG, what would compensate these drawbacks (being modest when just saying "drawbacks")? Damage? Unless it goes nuclear.

    Conclusion

    Overall, it looks like a promising class, original and definitely fun to play, however there are still a few debatable things regarding it. Good job with this class idea! It has potential. :thumbsup:

    I would think if it has an axe, not to name it soldier... Although great topic. I just find that warrior is already like the description you put out.

    Soldier is more like a guy with a sword or smth so yeah i agree. Maybe call it Berserker or smth instead

    I believed it to be "bump" as in to "bump" up your thread's ranking amongst the other ones. But I suppose you can take the word as a different meaning, although people still use the word "bump" on forums where the necro rule is not even a thing :P
