While Sentinels don't have too much to offer in physical offensive capabilities, they provide unmatched defensive capabilities and use their powerful magic to further protect or strengthen others and themselves, as well as compensate for their weaker physical attacks in special cases.

Attack style: Melee, radius is 1 smaller than usual but hits in a larger arc and does more knockback.
Playstyle: Heavily defensive, specializes in soaking up hits for others while at the same time heavily weakening more powerful enemies.
Passive Abilities: +40% defense

Repulse/Knockback: Concentrated magic allows the Sentinel to release a pulse of energy from its shield, repulsing all enemies in range.

Summary: The Sentinel/Defender is a class with huge potential in groups, being able to effectively take damage and draw it away from friends. Additionally, it has a large focus on debuffing enemies, so other classes can deal more damage. However, this class may stray from it's usual self. If needed, it can dish out huge damage in single blows. However, this takes a lot of energy. These alternating styles can be seen in it's items.

Info: All mobs within 10 blocks of the user will instantly target the player for 15 seconds and take 10% more damage, leaving behind the previous target. The user gains 20% resistance. If one player uses this spell while another is still active, enemies will still change targets.

Summary: The Sentinel/Guardian is a class with huge potential in groups, being able to effectively take damage and draw it away from friends. Additionally, it has a large focus on debuffing enemies, so other classes can deal more damage. However, this class may stray from it's usual self. If needed, it can dish out huge damage in single blows. However, this takes a lot of energy. These alternating styles can be seen in it's items.

I really like the idea of a tank class, especially one that can draw the agro away from other players. I'd totally agree with this if It wasn't a tank mage by default, with more base weapon damage. But maybe that's balanced by the lack of range. \(lol)/ I like how it's a tank class, but the weapons cause a bit too much damage to be "shields"

A shield can be used as a weapon. You use it's weight to put the enemies off balance after you blocked them, in a move called a rebuke. Along with that, some shields have blades, spikes or bumps in the middle, causing a bit more damage. Even without something in the middle, the edges of the shield can be used, especially if they are metal.

shields can be offensive. just smack some one in the face with a legit shield it would hurt alot.

Shields are 100% not a weapon

Shields are VERY bulky, and hard to swing and bash for an extended period of time
Shields also restrict the movement and vision of someone a lot making it impractical as a weapon,

Take the modern Riot shield, transparent and light. Even that makes vision VERY hard and its very cumbersome to move

now take a shield that fits into wynn time period

Yeah I dont care since wynn makes no since but you cant say a shield is a wep
