No, not that, there are so many convienent ways to fix losing items and it's all been ignored.

And you're here blaming recklessness, instead of going ahead and just dealing with the bug or asking the code team to do something about it because players are losing all their hard earned work from Qira hive and other quests like ???, and considering there aren't refunds the least you could do is try and fix it or get someone else to.

And FYI I'm well aware you've known about this problem for months, have you made any attempt to deal with it or even gave any promises that you would attempt to find a way to deal with it? no, you just blamed recklessness. It isn't recklessness, it's just a bug that's been well known of that isn't being fixed.

And I wasn't blaming recklessness on anyone. I was saying, without the knowledge that untradable items never drop, that we wouldn't be able to tell if people had just died and lost their items or if they had legitimately glitched out. The GM team can't do anything, it's all up to the code side. Blaming us won't help, cause we can do nothing, and the coders as stated are already working in trying to squash this bug.

And, what convenient ways are you citing? I honestly can't think of what they might be.

There's a no refund policy for a reason. Even with these super safety precautions, someone will find a way to cheat the system.

Probably the suggestion of armor staying equipped even if you do not have enough skill points. To my knowledge staff have never dismissed this idea.

well what i see is that people are frustrated and confused. For one, nobody really knows what the content/code team are ever up to so the only thing they can do is assume that they arent doing anything (to fix the problem at least) because we arent seeing results. There was another thread about how the content/dev teams should post periodic updates about whats happening so people know whats going on and wont make baseless accusations. right now, a lot of people are losing/have lost items theyve worked hard for and when people are angry they look for someone to blame. in this case, thatll be the dev team. anyway, jsut telling people to suck it up cuz its "being worked on" for one just makes people even more salty and for two doesnt carry any weight cuz its been said for like the past forever

I only pointed things out. I was also talking about people wanting Mods to manually put an item in their inventory. This would be a ton of work with the chance of people losing it again. Therefore it would be a lot of work for no reason.

well keeps people happy for the time being :/
and i think ur being a bit unreasonable with the whole "for no reason" cuz obviously the reason is
    1. (most) people lost their items from shitty glitches in the game completely outside their control
    2. keeps people playing (so they dont rage quit)
    3. people want it ._.

No. You are as well. I doubt you want to go through each thread, each player's inventory, each item that they lost just because of this. The people who do this are the SAME people who make this game. These people are also making the update. What you have said here will cause the update to be pushed even further. Not saying that this is a dumb idea, but you sound a bit selfish here. Think about the mods who are doing this... for FREE.

for one, im not saying the mods must do it, but they should be open to it if they have the time
also, im pretty sure mods and ct are not all the same :/
just cuz u can build/code doesnt make u a gud moderator
and im not sure wut u mean by "go through each thread"
anyway i just said that their not doing it "for no reason" kek
also not sure how i sound selfish :/
a game should appeal to its playerbase. if the players arent happy, theyll just go find some other game
im not saying this as a threat "oh ill go play smth else if i dont get my stuff back", but there are people who actually will

A general mistake on my part. However you made it sound as if you didn't care about the Mods or that. Apologizes on my part for that. But you do realize that Mods can't get to everyone and that means not everyone will get their items back. This can lead to many problems as it would be considered unfair for others who didn't.

Well actually, this and a lot of others stuff that has been pointed out like
May actually be able to be done by the community if the code is re-done :

That way all coders understand it (because from what I heard Jumla is re-doing the code because it sucked) and since i'm sure some people in the community are super skilled coders they can do the code, and send it to a mod+ to get it implement that way
    won't be ignored anymore!! Yey

(and also yes i'm having a bit of fun quoting you Satakel because you talk of "easy way to fix everything" but you don't give any, and Selvut himself doesn't even see what you're talking about... But if you've got one then i get to stfu :D)

well technically, the community would do the code, then Jumla would verify if it hasn't got anything bad and all good? or idk, i'm not a coder i'm just giving away ideas
