Game Mechanics Change how Gather Speed ID works

    So, currently, the gather speed ID only increases your damage per tick (That is, make you progress more in each gather)

    That brings up an issue, sometimes this ID just does absolutely nothing. You might be doing let's say 25% per tick, and that's 4 gathers. Now you have a gather speed bonus that can bring you up to 33% per tick, but that's still 4 gathers! How can we make the gather speed ID actually worth then?

    Idea: Make Gather Speed increase the actual gather speed instead of increased progress per tick.

    Normally it's 1 tick per second, and now the new calculation can be 1/(1+s) where s is the gather speed%

    This would actually make the player feel like the gathering is faster, in this example we have:
    Normal gathering: 25%/t (Takes 4 seconds, 1t=1s)
    Normal gathering w/ 32% gather speed ID: 33%/t (Takes 4 seconds still, the ID feels like nothing)
    Using proposed gathering speed change: 25%/t (1t=0.7575...s, takes 3.03 seconds now)

    With this, gathering should be easier as now the progression goes faster instead of just increasing on tick damage, you'd say it's buffing the ID, I'd say it's fixing the ID and make it behave as it should be.

    how about we make gathering speed into some sort of "gathering effectiveness" and add gather speed ings to gear crafts
