Suggesting that ChatGPT should be used for literally anything is always a bad idea. It's completely garbage. ChatGPT is useless, and the moment you actually test it on its understanding of things, it folds in two.
ChatGPT can't count the characters in a message, it can't write alliteration, it can't do an acrostic or read backwards text, and there's all sorts of other issues. When asked to produce a list of bad kid names, it produces something that's alphabetised for some reason and uses a list of 'disgusting' prefixes and suffixes that it just pulls from at random. So, yeah, that's not usable for the lore.
On the other hand, if you asked me, I could definitely write a bunch of mob lore for this project. Maybe not all the mobs, but some of them, sure.
