Assassin Tweaks (thought About And Redone)

    My problem could also be the lack of good daggers perhaps? The other classes have many more mythics to choose from and also good legendaries, while assassin has only really 3 endgame mythics and one legendary (black) to use. Have we not discovered all assassin mythics yet? There is no multi element weapon, or a good thunder or water weapon to use, which could solve damage problems the class has.

    @Selvut283 So is there a dagger with a high damage output other than grimtrap? The hive dagger literally only does 3.5k damage per multihit, which is certainly too low for lvl 100... Weathered already does very good damage for it's speed, so I doubt inferno will do much more, with hardly much damage difference and a lower tier attack speed. Also, will powders solve the issue? Because if they do, I'm happy to wait. But if they don't then I think multihit really does need a buff.

    Assassin needs to be more melee based instead of giving the player of a choice between spells and melee damage. Also, assassin weapons should get a buff as a lvl 88 RARE mage weapon does 50-100% more damage than the legendary daggers of the same lvl...wtf

    The only two weapons you possibly could be referring to are Voidlight and Alazarin.

    Voidlight inflicts 1-100 air damage, and 1-200 thunder damage; 2-300 total, averaging 151 damage per hit, at Normal attack speed.

    Alazarin inflicts 180-300 neutral damage, averaging 240 damage per hit, at Fast attack speed. It is also a rather defensively-leaned item, providing mostly element defenses and health bonuses rather than focusing on damage. And it still outclasses Voidlight severely.

    However, they both have skill requirements and some other effects. Taking those into account.

    Voidlight requires 25 Dexterity and 25 Agility to wield, and provides a boost to both, as well as having a 5% damage boost to both air and thunder damage. As the spell damage is a different calculation, I will ignore that. Given the boosts, each damage category gets a 33.3% damage boost. So, 1-133 air damage, and 1-267 thunder damage; 2-400 total, averaging 201 damage per hit, at Normal attack speed.

    Alazarin requires 15 in all skill points to use, including Strength, which boosts its damage. This gives its damage a 13.9% boost, so it deals 205-342 damage, averaging 274 damage, at Fast attack speed.
