Assassin Spell Rework

    1. Well yes you are not encouraged to spin attack that frequently but now the game is just FORCING US not to frequently use it. What?
    2. *Sigh* Why salted why
    3. Fixed that. change it to "regen"
    4. I thought the fourth spell is meant to be an utility spell. When did it become a main damage spell that has almost no gameplay advantage except dealing damage?

    All these ideas wont buff assassin a single bit as there is compensation on the other spells

    keep it the same but nerf the kb
    keep the kb but buff the dmg

    1) Due to a slightly-poorly-implemented feature involving the "Slowness" given actually being Speed 127 or 255 which wraps back to 0 making it a negative effect, but since Speed is one of the stealable effects...this will most likely be fixed at...some point...but at the moment, it is a very minor thing since most players do not spam their spells that quickly(except maybe Charge or Teleport).
    3) Regen runs on a completely separate timer and separate functionality on both mobs and players than weapons do; they hardly interact at all. I doubt that would be even possible.
    4) And yet I often see players using Arrow Shield and War Scream offensively. Smoke Bomb certainly is a more offensively-tilted "utility" spell, but then again, Vanish is in the "movement spell" slot and was never meant to be used for long-distance travel, so I feel like it is safe to say that Smoke Bomb does not necessarily need to follow the same pattern either, but even then it does still provide utility via providing the player with cover. Given how enemies are slowed while in the smoke, either damaging them further or in PVP causing panic and most likely movement spell-spam, it provides an excellent tool. Trapping enemies within racks up damage very quickly(but since it is possible for them to walk out, having it weaker would severely reduce its usefulness), you can use to to create a sort of impassible zone, it can be used to reach enemies that are camping outside of your reach...I would certainly say it has a lot of utility.

    I like your points but if you look at the main uses of each spell, there's not really a specifically offensive one:
    Spin Attack: High Damage, Slows Opponent, Not good when spammed
    Vanish: Short Distance Travel, Damage Boost, Panic Button/Escape Measure
    Multihit: Decent Damage, Knockback
    Smoke Bomb: Decent Damage, Cloaks User, Slows Opponent
    Thath's why I just want multihit to be buffed a bit, so it can have more use than just hitting things away from you.
    Because, right now, the spell that's supposed to do the most damage does the least for assassin. (aside from vanish)

    Enemies just walk out of smoke bomb, and spin attack does more than multihit for me?
    And even if my description was wrong, it's bad that smoke bomb is nearly double the power of multihit.

    For me it feels like multihit is just my basic attack with high knockback...

    What set do you use if you have never lost? Like Dex or a spell DMG set? Because honestly I really want to know I can't figure out how to work my assassin...

    Enemies can walk out of the ability that deals the most damage? Why, that seems to make it somewhat impractical to rely on, forcing you to use other skills in tandem to get the most out of it! It is almost as if there is a semblance of balance among the spells!

    To your argument that Multihits is not a main offensive spell, look at the percentages.
    Spin Attack: 200%
    Multihits: 25%*10+100%
    Smoke Bomb: 60%*0-10

    Each individual hit is affected by Spell Damage identifications, meaning that Multihits gets a much higher boost from those ID's than Spin Attack, and the previously stated inefficiency of Smoke Bomb keeps the higher damage from being an issue as you have to expend a significant amount of effort to get the very most of out of the spell while Multihits is instant.

    Seriously, Selvut gave plenty reasons on how assassin is not UP, or he said that Salted won't change it.
    I really want Salted to reply to one of these threads just to shut everyone up about an assassin buff.

    I have a suggestion.

    Every time you cast vanish, you are pushed forward 2 blocks in the direction you face (like charge, but shorter)
    That way the bomb arrow or something that was about to hit you is much easier to dodge, but you must cancel vanish, then recast to vanish charge forward again.
    That it is more mobile at short ranges and harder to predict where they are going.

    Does that count elemental damage? because I think that's why most people are saying multihit does less damage than spin attack.
