Does assassin need buff?

    Yep. Alternating between it and spin attack removes the freezing effect from spin, AND keeps the spell cost from increasing, as well as getting damage boosts from Raw Spell damage, and letting you still do relatively large amounts of damage While regenning mana. In addition, Force is so OP

    Just no. We went through this during gavels launch and it's been no and no every time. This thread is absolutely pointless, it achieves nothing,brings nothing new to the table, and is just a waste of time to read. The only thing this thread does is clog up the general suggestions with more unneeded posts. Assassin is fine as it is, I've played it for years, the complaint that it's underpowered is false, as it can do insane damage if used properly, it just requires a bit of effort

    agility can dodge it pretty easily, and it costs more than smoke bomb(which does more dmg)

    Mage and Archer have better mobility.
    Warrior and Mage can tank better.
    Archer has far superior damage.
    All have lower mana costs than assassin.

    So what I'm getting from that is nothing. Try again.

    Do Mages and Archer have a spell that can knockback enemies miles away? Do Warriors have a spell that can blind and freeze enemies, which is super useful? Do they have a spell that makes you invisible for a few seconds? Do they have really good items that are not mythics? Are they as flexible with builds?

    Archer can escape away or use arrow shield, mage can teleport away and ice snake, warriors can do uppercut to trap and assassin or could just charge... so umm yea.. please dont be brainlessly biased

    Spin cancels escape, and Arrow shield is outranged by spin and multihit

    Which is why mage is considered the counter to assassin

    Spin cancels Charge, and Uppercut is kind of hard to use while blind

    1) archers wont even let u get close enough to spin
    2) im just addressing the points to @Bloww 's points

    warriors could just hit u with an uppercut, then charge into you b4 u can dodge.. and assassin is dead

    Vanish, Spin attack, and smoke bomb can override and shut down charge before they can use it.

    no.. ur in midair.. look uppercut sends the assassin back and into the air..... warrior would be out of range.. and b4 u hit the ground his charge hits u.. ur already blinded and he can probs kill u easily from there

    A. Charge doesn't blind
    B. Smoke bomb cancels charge and outranges Uppercut, so just throwing one at a warrior shuts them down completely

    Archer has two: Arrow Shield and Arrow Storm. You should try them sometime.
    Warrior can't blind, but Bash freezes the opponent.
    No, but they have a real movement spell that actually gets them somewhere.
    Yes: Requiem, Whimsy, Cascade, Manablast, Phoenix Wing, Yggdrasil, Drumstick... Fog of Creation, Thunderbird, Misconduct, Ensa's Resolve, Hornet, Gale's Force... Harwrol, Ignition, Hammer of the Forge, Cue Stick, Voidstone Spear, Tidebinder, Frenzy...
    Archer and Mage are more flexible with builds than Assassin.

    Basically, still getting nothing from your argument. Try again.

    Archer doesn't need to get close to Assassin, just stay back and use Arrow Storm, they can't get away and the absurd range prevents them from hiding in vanish.
    Uppercut isn't hard to use while blind, it's hitbox is huge.

    Actually, vanish won't help if the warrior is smart and watches the smoke particles, and charge can actually go over top of spin attack.

    It may be because of my walk speed, but arrow storm is absurdly easy to dodge, and vanish keeps opponents from having a lock on your position, meaning that if you know the map you can get the jump on archers even if they're camping out on a ledge
    again, probably because of the walk speed assassin, but by the time the particles are noticable you're already out of range for most attacks
    Charge also has a lower range around the player meaning if it goes over a target all you're doing is putting you closer to the assassin, which is where they have the multihit/spin/smoke combo
    is a joke of a ranged spell that does jack shit to stop an assassin unless they're using a poison build, which is completely broken in the first place
