Assassin Buff

i get triggered af when someone says assassin is shit without having a decent reason

and it wouldnt prove anything since im also an assassin XD

OK! I don't know a lot about builds and things, but Assassin should get just a slight buff. I think people here are focusing too much about the pvp while I think pve is more important (I'm not saying pvp isn't important at all but I'm pretty sure the game's main idea is pve and not pvp. Pvp is "next level" thing. And no matter the class, for pvp you can just find a build that will piss people off). Assassins are slightly weaker than the rest of the classes. I do think a slight buff should balance it out between the classes and make assassin more viable for playing and enjoying the game, while making pve nicer but not too op.

A slight buff for the Assassin class should make the class more enjoyable.

well I'm sorry I said I'm not the best with wynn (I seriously have no idea how I got to level 94), I only played as mage so my point of view is by pvp and playing with my assassin friends. For all around the levels I saw their struggle, I'm sorry if I didn't answer your requires

 

Ok I do think the mana on multi it should be nerfed or it should have damage buffed BUT ONLY FOR THE FIRST UPGRADE. This is since spin atck does more damage for less mama before multi it tier II

 

I definitely agree that the assassin should have more mobility I find it hard to believe that a knight and a Mage would be faster than an assassin

 

Arrow storm- 6 mana
Escape - 3 mana
Bomb arrow- 8 mana
Arrow shield- 10 mana

Spin attack- 6 mana
vanish- 2 mana
Multihit- 10 mana
Smoke bomb- 8 mana

???

EDIT: for all those complaining about sucky mobility and bad mana, I love vanish cuz it's OP in enclosed areas. Who would survive longer in a 20x20 room full of mobs? The main reason I think a lot of people complain about PvP is the area they PvP in. Try dueling assassin in a cave rather than a wide open flat field.

Finally; imagine you're in the back of rotten zombie cave, and want to get out. What class would have it easier?

Mage-tries to tp and gets stuck on blocks
Warrior-tries to charge and either gets knocked back by mobs or gets stuck on inclined surface
Archer-tries to escape and hits the ceiling
Assassin-Vanishes and walks past all the mobs without any problems

 

I dont think its about buffing it. On the class menu, Assassin has 4 defense points, However, assasssin sucks at defense. Fix those defense

 

and archer, and warrior

mage ice snakes and freezes every single damn mob...

I like to think that people who think there class needs a buff fall into three categories:

1. They have bad gear
2. They screwed up there skill points
3. They picked a class that wasn't right for them

I'm not saying the classes are balanced, I'm saying that the balance isn't really a problem at the moment.

 

I'm not sure how ice snake is relevant in this case, or what part this is a response to.
As for your mana arguments:
In what way is bomb arrow WAY BETTER? In order to do full damage, the arrow needs to bounce against the target 3 times, in a very random way. I'd prefer launching three easy to aim projectiles that do damage over time than firing an arrow that bounces randomly around, only even doing multiple hits because of aoe.
As for multihit, it may take a lot of mana, but the ability to fling your foes around wherever you want, in addition to damage? Arrow storm MIGHT be effective, but you need to be very specific about where you aim from , and for full knockback most arrows need to hit, and due to the way the bolts spread out, this is very difficult since you need to be very close, and even then the target gets pushed away, not receiving the full volley.

Also, think of arrow shield. 10 mana? For knockback, blindness and ok damage? I'd rather multihit. As for speed III, charge and teleport both have higher mana usage than escape, without speed III. I don't see you asking for THEM to have a mana reduction.

arrow bomb does a crap load of damage instantly (like meteor) making it impossible to dodge. Multihit is ok but with it did bit more dmg, smoke bomb is so easy to dodge. ex. farming in tol... the trainers evaporated when my bomb arrow hit em. arrow storm is SOOOO hard to aim am i right? i mean i dont know how to move my mouse up slowly cause that needs me to move my mouse....
arrow shield ok damage? it does a ton of damage -_- and all they have to do is set it up again and u cant go close to them.....

 

what is this thread? ok lets get something straight the "assassin is only good with mythics or slider" so is every class, legit i cant think of a single one who isn't only good with a few endgame weps, like wtf XD thats not even a argument

2nd assassin can easily get more dmg then any other class, and not per hit, its a dps class, you made to stack smoke bomb and multi hit, you cant say this one is better worse than these, when used together they are the best spell convo, and pls don't forgot they are the only dmging spells in game that stack

yea that one, there are many ways to get around that.

oh and for all you complaining about assassin, go get a build, and beofre you say "assassin can only be good with a build?" no class is good without one
oh and my lvl 23 assassin does 2k multi hits lol
