Armor Skins (yes I Know What You're Going To Say)

Technically what i said was relevant and topical so it's not a necro. (correct me if i'm wrong?)

But eh. TBH hypixel isnt as good (though maybe cause my computer is a toaster) and wynn doesnt need the super-high fidelity that hypixel needs since wynn is PvE and not PvP

 

Open up two different instances of minecraft at the same time

you are correct, however that will mean creating a skin for every armor piece in the game which is a lot

 

Firstly, minecraft takes like 5 mins for me to launch, and it lag out my computer.

If I play and launch minecratf I wont be able to play for 5 mins because of lag

And on top of that, if I run minecraft twice, I get frame drops because I have 6 gigs of ram (which isnt much) and I like to keep my chrome tabs open and watch a youtube video whileI play

Then we gotta keep in mind we added like 1.5k armor pieces since armor skins were removed

 

Wouldn't adding it back mess with skins that have a 2nd skin layer already?

fun fact a few pieces of armor also messes with the first layer *cough* mummy's rag *cough*
and yes it would. There was a command that shuts off armor skins tho

thats kinda what they did last time.

And yeah itll take ages but maybe when the team grows larger and there aren't pressing important projects like corkus/dern/etc it could be done

 

the only time armor skins were out was from pre gavel to a bit after gavel.
pre gavel there were like 300 items, gavel added 1500 items (smth like that)
it will take time but it will also be hard to make skins for so many items
