Quest Aldorei's Secret Part I

Not a bug within the quest.

After finishing the quest and receiving an Elven Medallion, doing /fixquests will allow you to get the Receipt as well.

This results in having an extra item that takes up bank space.

This would probably be considered as abuse of a glitch.
The best thing to do is just to respect the rules, and don't abuse it.

Honestly, I cannot think of a solution to this problem
(though I have no experience in this field)
But as far as I am certain, Fixquests just uses some system or the other to recognize when you are missing an item from a quest, and since you don't get a certain item from this quest, the limited AI mistakenly gives you the item.

 

Just create another class, put the item in the inventory, delete the class and just don't do this again, @Lord_He1mchen has an easier way of doing that, but I don't remember...

 

The command /fixquests is supposed to give you missing quest items. Unfortunately its not saved which option you chose in the first quest and therefore you get both items.
If you want to get rid of the extra item you can just put it into your daily reward chest. (@Pepinho)

Please don't point out exploits on the forums.
