as much as I like this, it would make acrobat more powerful, with the only drawback left being the carpal tunnel you get from playing for an extended period

Well acrobat only deals 300% Neutral Damage to your wrists. It needs to be buffed imo.

On a more serious note, I can't imagine these changes making acrobat significantly more powerful, except maybe with the 1 extra AP acrobats can use if they don't pick the target lock mechanic. I don't think that would be a big deal.

acrobat is arguably the best archetype in the entire game due to its extreme versatility in combat

It is versatile in combat but that really doesn’t matter

Right, right… high range, both vertically and horizontally? The ability to fly around and above enemies at any time? Being able to passively kill any boss in the game? Multiple combat styles that can be switched between on a whim? Useless…

If these things don’t matter, what does?

Yeah I won't lie, acro dps is very meh compared to other archetypes. And as much as acrobat can build glassy and still be safe from lots of threats, trickrobat does it way more effectively and with less effort.

    nerf trickrobat fr

Well the difference between 2m and 1m dps for example is going to be something like a few seconds on an enemy like greg. For acrobat's inconsistent 250k versus mage 750k or even shadestepper's 500k, you're going to lose a ton of time on stuff like greg

Inconsistent? I don't know what you are talking about. If you play Acrobat right, you can have very consistent DPS! I use Weathered and I get like 250k during Flow State, the whole time. With a Cataclysm build, you could easily top 500k. It isn't as broken as, say, Fallen Alkatraz or an all crafted cata Trickobat, but it is viable and most definitely consistent. It's just more difficult than other archetypes, you can't just spam the same spell for 2 billion DPS.

Also, what build are you using to get 750k DPS on a Mage? I'm very interested in the prospect of this.

All I’m trying to say is that a small qol buff to Acro isn’t going to throw off the balance of the game, cause acro isn’t the most powerful archetype. The mage build is on my computer so I’ll get back to you on that in a bit.

Alright, thanks for being chill. I get angry whenever someone says Acrobat isn’t the very best because i am super biased xD.
