Website & Forums Add A Rule That Prohibits Clickbait Titles (100+ Supporters)

While I consider some "clickbait" titles to be annoying, different people may consider different titles as clickbait, so a better suggestion would be to add a rule that makes you have titles that are on the topic of the thread.

 

PSA: I'm pretty sure I made it clear that clickbait counts as the thread title not relating to the thread itself and that it is not some false advertising that catches attention for no reason....

 

isn't that basically what clickbait is

one could make a post with like, "BEST (name some build combo i dont fucking know) BUILD FOR (same thing)" and im sure itd get more views than a normal build post because of the shitty title, while on topic with the fact that it's a build

anyways no, it really isn't that much of an annoyance (to me) to your day to have to click on a thread only to see that what the title said isn't what the thread is actually about

 

Not sure if this is just me that but clickbaits using in a sarcastically way may be fun in a way but if it isn't and is abused then... Not fun.
