For this to be a valid argument you have to have a real plan to fix the economy and start executing it. This would help so much as a temporary "solution".

I'm sorry. Of course you have a plan however I do not think that it will go fast enough if you do not have the ability to change things more then in the few major updates (which happens around 3 times a year...). While this could be an easy temporary improvement.

I also want to say that the wynncraft economy is far from the worst for a MMORPG because we still can use the original currency, we only have a inflation of around 10 times per year (while prices doubling every month isn't unheard of in other games) and all this with a relatively small team and budget.

The economy is already destroyed beyond comprehension. If this was added, it would only make the rich richer, and would drive up the prices of everything.

 

They won't get more money because of this...

 

Currently, The only limit to the amount of money a single person can have is space. If that limit is taken away, the amount of money one player would be able to have would be boundless (or at least 64x higher than it is now) The disparity between the wealthy and everyone else will just increase to an even larger gap than it already is.

And in addition to this, prices of high tier items will increase. If it is much easier to store money, then inflation of the market will accelerate even faster.

The current emerald tier system is fine, in fact it is pretty much the only thing that is resisting inflation. Instead of letting people store money 64x easier, focus should be put into fixing the economy itself, so people don't have the need to hoard that much money in the first place

 

And then people start voiding stacks of le or what? In reality they give the money to other people who actually use it instead of practically voiding it by never using it. This isn't stopping inflation (it probably increase inflation since it increases circulation) and it is stupid to artifically limit peoples wealth. Fixing the economy for real is something that I am all for however stopping quality of life changes is always a bad idea.

 

No; people do not just "void" money. People pay large sums of money on single items because they can. Additionally, your next statement is false. Economies are based around circulation. When circulation stops the economy dies, and money becomes devalued.

And finally, this change would only benefit a very very small percentage of the community, while damaging the economy as a whole, which hurts almost all players.

 

This is a Minecraft server, don't use the phrase "quality of life" that you learned last year in 8th grade civics to make a point. There is no quality of life because anyone who plays Minecraft doesn't have a life.

 

Let's sum up everything with a short statement of my opinion on this.

The economy is broken, but this isn't the solution. We should add this because it is an improvement for everyone with multiple stacks of le (which is most people with a lvl 100 class) and the "negatives" which apperently is that it will inflate mythic prices even though it will always only be the very wealthiest that can buy the best gear. I think that fixing the economy for real is the solution to these problems.
