World Add A New Emerald Tier

Until someone dupes it and starts ruining the economy even more.

Then they will be banned and the money would be purged. Duping is always the excuse for suggestions like these. A stack of a new tier of currency is reasonable with rich players, but not anymore than 3.

Not easier to get emeralds, easier to have emeralds.

Limiting the emerald limit as much as possible calls for a more stable economy. So you don't get Stratis for 81 stacks, and instead probably lower. If it's harder to have more emeralds, then the prices will be more realistic.

But Salty! It's easier to have emeralds with the better banks suggestion!
At the cost of emeralds, of course.

But Salty! A bigger trade UI means more emeralds can be traded at once! Doesn't that go against the economy and your arguments?
Trading emeralds is a vital part and yes, being able to trade more emeralds is not good for an economy. But if a new emerald tier is implemented then obviously the situation would be worse. The trade UI is simply a placeholder until they fix the economy.

And if it's storage you're worried about, then the better banks suggestion is for you.

 

Mabye they could retexture a block (Like they did with all the weapons) into Compressed emerald and a merchant would be only in Detlas, Cinfras and Corcus City (So basically in the most popular city in every province)

 

I like the better banks suggestion, but it is also helping reduce the Mythic Scam Rate in case the amount is too high to trade at once.

 

Do anyone seriously think that the economy somehow would be worse by this? Please explain why. And the richest players will probably never get less extreme because staff won't take a huge tax on everyone because that would be both difficult and unpopular. The economy will probably never be fixed just less broken and because of that this should be implemented.

 

this brings up the other thing, more bank slots. theres already another suggestion for extra bank slots and its pretty good. its nearing 1000 votes which is the amount required to get an admin's attention so I think we should vote on it and bring the bank slot suggestion into consideration and if we do then we will have much more slots four our money needs

Liquefied Emerald is already can be called molten emerald because it's basically a metric shit ton of emerald blocks melted together, so it won't make any sense to melt it again, and it magically turning back into a solid block.

Ender Crystal Item doesn't exist in 1.8 - the current version of the server.

How on Earth would emeralss suddenly turn into a diamond? They are two different minerals...

There is a bunch of great suggestions (better than this suggestion) with 1000+ "yes" votes and an owner reply but they're still are not planned to be added, and will stay as an idea at least until the code refactor.

 

The server isn't going to remain in 1.8 for long. They will be dropping support for it soontm.

Here's a name suggestion for this new emerald tier, as well as a bit of lore to go with it.

"23 years ago, the body of an unknown alchemist was found on a cave near karoc quarry.

One of his studies was a formula to separate emeralds from any kind of impurities as well as infusing the emeralds with magic to compress them even further, leaving behind a boiling dark green liquid so thick it was on the verge of being solid.

When this liquid cools down, a dark green stone takes form. Despite its colour, the stone irradiates with energy, shining bright green rays of light.

This new stone was called Emerium, which means "pure money" in the language of the villagers, and it is the most concentrated form of emeralds known, being necessary hundreds of thousands of emeralds to make a single piece of this element."

 

This might not work as a new emerald tier buld could work as a Gavel quest or a new item.
