I did have two solutions to that. Tabs and the use of select logged data. There would be tabs for each section then sub tabs for that section as well. Take discovery of weapons for instance. For legendary weapons there would be sub taps based on level.

The select log data would mean that only specific data would be stored. Like, again, weapons. Only unique, rare, legendary and set items will be aloud to be recorded.

And also, little bit of a side note, armor sets or like sets would be grouped together.
