A New Way Of Acquiring Mythics

(Answer after reading thread) How should this system be implemented?

    maybe the items disappear once you collect them, then you can view in the compass? shit idea nonetheless

    While I do understand the frustration of grinding for a mythic and the absurd drop rates, but Wynncraft really boxed themselves in when they left the drop rate for mythics so low for so long. Whatever you do someone or the other will be pissed off. If you don't change it then the newer players will be frustrated and angry at the slow rate of acquiring mythics. Even now most mythics are beyond the range of most players. Also I do agree that such wonderful weapons shouldn't be given to everybody for just showing up, this will ruin the effort that other, older players have put in. If they do change it then the older players will be extremely frustrated because of their efforts being largely nullified.

    Your idea of reducing the positive ID"s and increasing the negative ID's doesn't seem to be great since most mythics are sought after for their high damage. The ID's are just the icing on the top, for example Nirvana really doesn't need the extra mana regen or intelligence buff since it's already 110 intel to use. Same goes for most mythics(Not all, for example Cataclysm.) By giving these items a ID buff, you're still making them hella useful and basically the same but shittier lower tier of mythics such as a 5 rerolled, bad ID'ed mythic. And I can tell you from personal experience, that these mythics also are a cut above excellence when using them since the baseline stats are so good.

    Also it appears that price is still very low. On an average you can score around 1000's of kills in a couple of minutes or hours depending on whether you use double loot bombs, mob totems, loot bonus gear etc. There are a wide variety of variables and this system can be broken in half by using the right combination of gear and items. By adding this you'll simply be adding to the problems by making the older players frustrated along with the newer players since the mythics won't feel earned and hence not important enough to be remembered.

    Hence this is a bad idea, and I don't support it. However this is an admirable effort and hence I wish to remedy this. Add a new tier between Legendary and mythics, with all of the stats such as drop rates, ID's damage falling in between a Legendary and a Mythic. These' should roughly be 1/4th times of a mythic, since there should be a significant buff in moving to a mythic from the previous tier.

    Edit: By adding in this new untradable tier, you're also introducing a whole slew of new problems. By adding what is essentially a new tier, and one that is ridiculously easy to get, a week or most of effort to get one,( Very low amount of time), and you'll essentially replace the old mythics. By adding these to the game, the prices of mythics that are tradable would reduce drastically since nobody will buy them, and hence all of the people who put a whole lot of effort would eseentially be broken, for no fault of their own. And don't tell me that they can sell it and grind for another mythic of the same type but of the untradable item. Are you really telling me you expect people to grind for a week or 2 for the EXACT same item, but of OBJECTIVELY lower quality? I don't think so, that's unfair to those who already own mythics. Stop treating them as if they're the devil.

    Sounds like a great idea, but I think there's one major problem.
    Wynncraft will turn into 'grinding game', which it's not the purpose of this server

    And what do you think about it? Should Wynncraft lose it's purpose as a RPG game and turn into a grinding game?
    Ofc, every RPG has some grinding part, but I think that there's too much grinding on Wynncraft already

    I didn't clarify. I fucking hate grinding. The fact that the devs think that grinding is something fun makes me realise how much they're detached from community.
