    Trying to argue for the sake of arguing, might end up supporting the idea.

    I completely understand your argument on having regen a continuous thing rather than it being intermittenly - that's how its done on every other game/mmo.

    Although, the periodic regen sort of appeals to me in a way that it adds a new element to the game which you have to play by. Yes, this element may be annoying, but I feel it's sort of neat.

    -Continuing on about the current regeneration being a 'new' element, I believe you said that continuous regeneration wouldn't change how much you're getting from the current system, but that is incorrect for some cases. For example, say you have 16/4 mana regen, you used two spells costing 3 and 4 leaving you with 13/20 mana. With continuous regen you would gain your mana back in around 2 seconds whereas the current system may take 4-5 seconds depending on the timer. Not a game breaker, but still a difference.

    -Unsure about the current state on sprinting and super high mana regen as I've never had it, but wouldn't the continuous version make the sprinting debuff a lot weaker than it currently is? As of now I've grown to like the sprinting debuff as it adds value to horses, regen, and so forth.

    -If mana regen were to continuously regenerate, then shouldn't health regen be continuous as well? If yes, I feel this would be even stronger as most mobs in this game are easily kited, which allows you to heal safely in battle. Instantly healing your HP after being hitwould make you a lot harder to kill. If no, then it just might feel "off balance" or "uneven" to have one continuous and the other intermittenly in my opinion, but that's ok.

    -A small thing to add is it definitely makes PvP a lot more difficult as you have to manage your abilities more (which I like), but PvP is just complete shit right now so who cares about that.

    I like things like this so I hope I helped by providing feedback containing possible flaws. It probably isn't as fleshed out as I'd like it to be considering I've had no sleep and am doing this on my phone.

    Thing is... what about 10/4s mana. 10/4 =\= a whole number. Or, in simpler terms, how would u make a number that doesn't divide by 4 or not a whole/half number fair/equal?

    Ah yeah, thanks for pointing that out, but I believe this would actually rebalance (in nerf way) the situations like you mentioned. With the current system, if you have 16/4s mana regen, you suddenly regenerate 16(+1) mana every 5 seconds. The regen timer is always going on even while you're not fighting/using mana, so in most of the situation when you start fighting, the timer has already started and is on like 2-3s. Even if you used up your mana in first 2-3s, the timer reaches 5s (even though it's hasn't past 5s after start fighting), and regenerates 5 seconds worth of mana. This allows you to spam way more spells than you're supposed to with the mana regen in the start of fights. But by changing it to continuous type, it can solve this problem; allowing players to use mana as much as they're supposed to have by their mana regen.
    I'm pretty sure this change doesn't affect that. And for the same reason I stated above, the current system might allow you to quickly be able to sprint again. Your mana decreases by like 5 every seconds when you have no mana regen, but if you have high amount of mana regen like 16/4s, your mana goes down really quickly, within a second it's all gone. If you want to keep running, you have to have over 7 mana regen every second, which is 35/4s mana regen. Not only that's almost impossible, when the sprint bar run out, it reduces your mana way more quickly than every second, making it technically impossible to keep running with any mana regen.
    Uhh... sorry, I didn't get what you meant. With the current system, Health Regen regenerates your health every 5 seconds. Whenever you get hit, your timer stops and start over again. Well yeah... that's the current system. If you want to change this, this would be another whole suggestion, so it's different from this one.

    I was under the impression it just kept regenerating... used a guardian for MONTHS and never knew this. holy shit.
