    I think this is a great idea. Not only will it make using mana regen easier, but it'll also make it so mana regen levels over 20/4 have a use.

    Yea, I thought of that at first too.
    But how come? This doesn't change the amount of Mana Regen itself.
    It might be even worse about the spell spamming fact with the current feature, because those who have high Mana Regen regen their mana back to full every 5 secs, and one second after that, they can spam spells like 4 or 5 times.
    Assassin's Spin Attack is a good example. They go vanished and get near to the enemy player, and one second after they un-vanished, what if their mr activated and get all the mana back? They can spam Spin Attack and probably can one-shot the enemy with that.
    This change will no more allow them to spam spells in one second, and mr will be more useful in general.
    That's what I think... how do you think about that? (btw 79/4s mr is literally impossible, around 25 is the max for a decent build.)

    But... why would they have to buff Mana Regen on most of gears? I'm only saying that Mana Regen should work separately every second, not buffing any gears in this suggestion.
    For the "short burst spam" thing problem, first I thought this wouldn't change anything on that, but as I think now, nothing would hardly get changed by this...
    This suggestion itself doesn't change the amount of mana you regen every 5 seconds, so if you're the one keep spamming spells with 19/4s mr, that means you use 24 mana every 5 secs, with 4~5 mana/s rate.
    I mean... it doesn't change anything, right? The main reason I suggested this is, it's ridiculous that your mana regens intermittently, but it should regen continuously.
    Maybe you could understand my thought by reading Concentration's lore..

    The forger of this ring had to endure 30 long days of smelting various metals only found in the ocean. A single mistake would ruin the creation. The mystic metals are said to seep into the wearers skin to gently replenish their resolve.

    The first enemy of Mage is lag, second MANA REGEN.

    I really hate the mana regen, it's slow, when you are need of spells, then you are most likely out of mana.

    Change of Mana regen or change the mana usage.

    Isn't it 1/1/1/16 mana and not 1/1/1/1/16 mana? Or what not. The point is, doesn't the mana regen take effect every fourth regeneration "tick" and not every fifth "tick"?

    Actually in-game, your mana does not regenerate "every 4 seconds", but it's "every 5 seconds". Someone said "/4s" means 4 ticks between the mana regen.
    Now these are my opinions,
    "20/4s needs to be the upper limit"? (or 19) But why? I personally see that's an old bad stereotype. Firstly, usually we can only get to around 24/4s only by armor and accessories, and maybe 4/4s or 6/4s from a decent weapon. That's 28/4s, which becomes 5.6 mana every second after this suggestion, so just remember that's the actual "maximum" value in-game. Well yes, if we used good ID-ed items as we usually do, we will be able to spam strong weapons' spells without a break. (For example, Thrundacrack?) However, we usually use thunder-based armors/accessories for the most of Thrundacrack build, not just choosing every best mana regen armors. Of course choosing all mana regen armors is one of the ways, but that's not how it is meant to be, or how building works, that would either make the single damage weaker or make it less fun. Or both. Right?
    That's why I think this suggestion, which is also about getting rid of the current 19/4s mana regen limit, is good. We usually don't have, or we're not meant to have over 19/4s in most of the builds. Talking about builds, we can also see the use for those mana regen builds which goes over 19/4s, just like Spring build. (I'm not sure cause I'm not a professional of builds tho) Archer is the one that uses the most mana among all classes, so they can take full advantage of their gear giving over 19/4s mana regen. I'm sure this makes the fighting much more fun, not only for that example, but also for everyone.
