Well... The rewards should be redone, cool mini quest idea although examples are bad. Also, how are random spawn locations going to be possible

 

Talking Wybels already exist. The orange one speaks to you as you enter his alter... then he kills you... unless you kill him anyway.

 

why would it matter? it'd probably still be surprising for the player

 

Oh I meant to quote two lines, that and this:

My point is that they already existed and they wouldn't need to be messed with by scientists (YAHYA, NOHNO, AND MEHME... also Sohso...) to become that way. Although maybe the orange one is special since we hadn't seen any talk before that one so yeah, you never know. I guess it could work...

 

Sounds amazing, just like proper RPG games (but in Minecraft!).

 

Thank you everyone for 30 supporters. Also, I would like to say again that we are not taking more examples. Any examples we need we will also write.

We are not doing random spawn locations. The rewards are just tests, of course they are open to change. The examples are just to show how the idea works, we didn't spend a whole lot of time on them. Although, I do really like the Siegfried sword one personally. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

 

how should the rewards be redone? we cant improve if you don't say what needs to be changed.

 

This is very true @RubyOnRails. You are telling us that almost everything we have is wrong and needs to be re-done, but you give us no way we should re-do it?

Nice idea, but one thing. If you have a lot of these quests, reset weekly, that could throw off the economy. They should have small rewards (like 2 EB or 1 mana 1 potion) or be super hard. Other than that, I like it.

 

They do have small rewards.
10EB is not a lot at all.

I mean 5-10 hours maybe even days, not one hour.

 

For newer players it is, and remember that it can quickly add up. 1LE is a stack of EB, and 10 is about a 6th of that.

 

Newer players won't be in Gavel.

 

How would you even find a miniquest? Are they random encounters, where they just appear? Or are they actual quests?

 

True, but if there's rewards like that on Wynn...

Also, I barely had 40 EB by the time I reached Gavel.

 

That's true, even I find 10 EB to be alot, and i'm level 65
