World ✧ Class Idea ✧ - The Shaman - Now In The Game, But Only By Name

The main problem with most class ideas is that they come with a new weapon type, and nobody stops to think what this means for actual implimentation (if there was any chance of class ideas being accepted in the first place) The content team would need to design hundreds of new weapons, potentially armor aswell, and balance all of it around this new class. That level of commitment would never be put above the team's own priorities.

From my reading of your OP, the Shaman seems like it could use the same wands and staves as mages currently do, and that would cut out most of the impossibilities involved in class suggestions.

Spoiler: Potential spoilers for the next update? Dunno, I haven’t kept up with Wynncraft for a long while.

Apparently a Shaman class has been added to the game. It’s a lot different from what I had in mind when I first came up with this suggestion like... how many years ago? Jesus Christ. But regardless, it looks and sounds really cool and I’m genuinely happy for y’all who continue to play the game. And cheers, Wynn dev team - you’ve come a really long way!

I guess I’ll use this post as an opportunity to briefly talk about where I’ve been over the past few years. Basically, high school happened (and now college is happening, god DAMN), and my priorities/interests have shifted quite a bit. But even though I haven’t really had the drive to log onto Wynncraft (or really play much MC, for that matter) for a long time, I still remember the good memories I’ve made on the server and forums. This is the place that really got me into some of my hobbies, like graphic design, story-writing, and game development. And heck, I still keep in touch with a lot of friends that I made within this community.

Anyway, I don’t want to get too off-topic and risk the ire of some very busy staff members, so I’ll bring it back to the topic of this thread. I really appreciate y’all taking a look at it and leaving feedback over the years; it’s probably one of my favorite suggestions to have come up with, even if it had no reasonable chance of being implemented due to what it’d ask of the developers.

In particular, I really want to give props to @ShadowMage1 for helping me come up with ideas and trying to keep this thread alive in my absence. You weren’t ever obligated to do it, but I appreciate your tenacity and I hope you’ll be glad to not have to do it so often anymore (unless you want, but that’s your call lol).
