First, it's been said that a suggestion needs around 1000 votes before the admin consider it supported enough to be actually in demand. Now, no one but the admins know if they've heard so many complaints about lost items that they consider it important enough to to make it a project, anyway, without 1000 votes in this thread, which I hope they do.
Second, slipae99, if you meant that if the item lock idea got 400 votes, that you would stop posting that gif, you should have set it to 1000 votes. We'd have that many in an hour or two.

Right like you've ever seen a thread from a non staff member with 1k likes and I'm pretty sure all the shouts after the gavel update will explain that other argument "help I lost all my armor"

 

100, 500, 1000, whatever it takes, as long as people keep voting for item locks, there's a chance that we will get them. It would have been nice to have had item locks before the update, if it was possible. But hey, look at it this way; all those lost items just created demand for items, right? So, a bunch of people lost items and got really upset. Was it really such a big deal? Oh, if only someone had had the time to post a notice of this suggestion on all of those threads, it would probably be at 750+ right now.

Amazing idea, when I was a noob, I was doing the silverfish dungeon for XP, I dropped my bow in the portal and it disappeared. I went in after it and it wasn't there, I don't want this to happen to any of my armour or weapons
