Facts: Altough buisness owners shouldn't have a lot of impact on politics, there are many examples. It isn't always bad, but the impact of each company should be fair. In Germany, for example, VW is the most powerful company, and also has to much impact on the government. That's why things like the scandal in 2015 could happen.
PS: The headquarter of IKEA is actually in the Netherlands
haha yeah I was making a Trump joke there. thing is, lobbying will always exist no matter what, that's why i believe, that leaders should be cycled more than how much they are cycled today, that is a good way of reducing corruption
Lobbying is good, so the government knows what's going on in their country, but a single lobby shouldn't be "stronger"? than other lobbies. In Germany, there was an attempt to make a list of all Lobbies, but it was stopped by the currently leading party, CDU/CSU. (The next election will be in september) And we should give Donald Trump some germicide, so he can finally get imune to COVID-19 :)
Mr. Trump could take some chill-pills for sure, and welp, I get where you're coming from, but tbh, lobbies are mostly in the interest of big business rather than the people who the politicans are supposed to represent
You've got a point, but the "Lobby" of the people, is actually the parliament, that is elected every 4 Years. But you're totally right, and I think there should be something like a voting for medium and big decisions by the people, so it can be more democratic than it is currently.
Edit: Using modern technology, it would be possible.
