Tbf archer can kill before bosses can really deal decent dmg (Let's say Olily rage can get like 40k or smth dps without rage) it can kill any boss except The eye in a not so long time (Maybe 10-30 Seconds) so I feel like Archer/Shaman are the same
There is maybe a chance Archer can be more powerful because they save time and if they get low they can pop an HP pot and anyway rage/shield exists to the point u can get 60k or smth dps. So I think archer comes close if not to the same of Shaman kind of
But the effort wouldnt last too long since archer is a practical cannon, right (Also shaman matro idol 4 needs effort if its ETW but it comes to the point where its Rng instead of hard but if you slap statue on only for matrojan you're fine). Archer could kill probably kill 500k hp bosses in 20 or so seconds while shaman takes a minute from my experience but its easier on shaman to not die probably.
If archer is glass cannon and still has more defense than shaman then I smell even bigger problems. Shaman was supposed to be super-damage-dies-faster-than-archer class.
Sorry for responding to something 12 days ago but if Shaman was supposed to be more glass cannony, then I don't see why they gave archer the same damage as shaman but decided to give storm like 2x as much damage as shaman, also totem has healing as well and totem so the time it is fighting it is tankier then archer (not to mention totem blocks projectiles)
