Played CivCraft and the likes on an old account, but didn't enjoy CivScarcity at launch. It felt too much like it was appealing to the little man, and almost discouraged large organizations. Plus the map shaping was never great.
I'm also not sure if cs is still up, considering Redmage pretty much moved over to Civex (If you need a nation just hit me up).
I didn't really like the big Civ servers, kinda turned out to be different than I expected. CivScarcity was probably the most fun cause it just let you derp around in a small world that reset quickly.
Essentially I had expected Civ servers to be more about making nations and cooperation and less about cool PVP and getting stone reinforced obsidian shoved in your stuff constantly.
Yeah. With Bonkil in charge of Devoted what could we expect though? CivCraft was a timebomb to be fair.
For people to get the feeling of nations being a thing it requires for people to spend the initial grind getting kitted up, then they can have fun safely, or for the community to encourage nations instead of PvP. Sov seems right up your alley though.
I don't really have as much time as I used to to do Civ servers now that I'm a moderator here. I like the Wynncraft community way more than that of Civ servers anyway.
