Oh .. i think "Predator" is another movie. 'Alien" was directed by Ridley Scott. Predator was more humanoid in form (not face tho') xD

H. R. Giger's art is impressive, but also a bit disturbing. The Xenomorph's design is, for example, still one of the best one I've seen so far. Sadly there won't be new designs from him :(

Yeh, just found out how disturbing. But w/o his involvement in the artistic team on the set, Alien would have been less successful ;D Sad to lose an interesting artist :(

The art style he pretty much created is as said disturbing and very dark, but very interesting indeed. I think the Alien design is better in any way then your normal green man from Mars!

Dat tru! Just look at the surplus of action anti-heroes proliferating the movie industry, skimming comic materials for content. I love this genre yes, but we're so lacking in truly creep-out bad-ass mobs! .. bring on the comments ..
