World Carriage Rides

Just Like the Seaskipper you could have a Carriage ride throughout the province of Wynn (or Gavel). We have already seen Carriage riders in the game, you even start the game in one! How i believe you should be able to use the carriage ride as a new fast travel is by doing a level 70 quest because by then you would have gone through all of Wynn. The quest should be like helping the rider out, Maybe his horse got lost or taken by some of the corrupt, or just his Wheel fell of and you have to go help retrieve it in the Roots of Corruption. There are many ways Wynncraft can make the quest, I just hope they can make it right and add the Carriage ride. tell me what you think about this! Is it a good Idea?

future Dragon_Tracker here I would like to mention this would also work for Gavel having the quest guide and protecting the Carriage rider through the Canyon of the lost and in return allows you to use the carriage ride. So tell me what you think of the this edit.

 

The wynncraft world already has enough fast travel, including GROOKWARTS, which can take you to pretty much ANYWHERE, so there is no point in making more fast travel. It would also mean that people who have only gotten to level 75 will have so much transport, what with the quest "Flight in Distress" giving you access to cinfras from Detlas, the quest "Order of the Grook" giving you access to access to extremely wide-spread fast travel, and "Misadventure on the Sea" giving you 4 boat passes to each Nemract and Selchar, and then this quest giving fast travel to everywhere over Wynn, the amount of shortcuts people could take would mean that after level 75, the amount of actual travelling players would do themselves would be decreased enourmously.

When coming up with new quests, please make them more detailed, giving them more stages, and DON'T make them simply a fetching-quest, those are some of the worst types of quests in the whole game.

 

I'd say that's actually quite a great idea. Helps you navigate through the province, and this would truly be useful, at least for me and maybe some other people like literally almost all of the community. Though as Baby Poseidon did state, the quest idea you gave isn't really the best idea.

I do know that that was kind of just an idea of what the quest would be like, and you even said it yourself, there are many ways that they could make the quest. Just try to make some better ideas than this one, I'm not really saying its bad though it could be improved. Also, maybe part of the quest idea could've actually been the quest if it was a bit better, but im not sure if thats how Wynncraft works, sometimes its just kinda strange. Great idea though, hope it could be implemented into the game, or atleast have a carriage/caravan that goes to certain places only, and not all cities / territories, that would still be nice.

 

I'm just against more fast travel unless new areas are released, but then again that's just my opinion, others will have other ideas

 

Also what other Wynn City to Wynn City fast travel do you know other than Ragni to Detlas?

ill post one more tho since im bored, but you can ask him personally if you want a rant yourself

on the idea itself... although i would like it i dont think we really need it... we dont need a way to get fast everywhere all the time
think of all the effort that the wynncraft builders have put into making the wonderful scenery around you which we take for granted
we have to appreciate their work, becasue that is one of the things that make wynn whole
fast travel would remove this wonder and awe and simply replace it with the flat feeling of wanting to get somewhere
most people have a decent horse at lv70
most people have good speeds, the majority are able to outrun a 30/30 chestnut by lv50 if you go speed, and lv70-80 otherwise
you dont really need fast travel becasue you can get there yourself, wynn is fairly flat so you dont need much fast travel, normal travel will do. if wynn was a bit more like gavel then i would probably approve a bit more
but it isnt, so i believe that we should instead take a moment to appreciate all the hard work done by the wynncraft team

You really haven't looked at any of my other posts, have you... That's fine. What isn't fine, however, is your attitude towards criticism. When someone has given you honest criticism, the poite response to that would be to either, if you then aree with them, apologise and say that you acknowledge the work they put into their resonse, or, if you don't agree, simply highlight ceratin points that you disagree with and then develop on them. What you shouldn't do, however, is completely ignore them, and then continue with a bad attitude towards them and others. I honestly feel rather offended that you didn't even bother to acknowledge my response fully, and then only respond in a way that could be considered rude.

What places do you really need to get to that would require a fast travel?

Honestly i didn't know that asking a very good question was rude? i didn't post that trying to be rude i was really just asking if you knew of a fast travel that i didn't so i'm sorry if i made you think of it as rude but i was just trying to ask a question...


Also i did take into account your response that Wynncraft has a lot of Gavel to Wynn or ocean travel but thats why i asked

 

Not a bad idea, maybe only have the carriage go from one place to another though? Like from detlas to Almuj perhaps? Bit easier on the lower levels

Now that's not entirely true, he stated that they would have to go to the roots of corrupt to get it (presumably fighting and a boss); that doesn't sound like just a fetch quest to me, anyway even if it was fetch quests can be a good way to get new information across to the player and are pretty casual.

It isn't, it's the other response that was rather rude, the "Time, and a LOT of patience", because that's saying that you got extremely fed up with reading my extremely short response extremely quickly. Either that or you just don't like the responses. That's the part I took offense at, not the question. The question is fine, it's just a question, and the answer is simply: What places do you really need to get to in Wynn at level 70? Also there's the Ragni - Troms tunnel, answering it again, if you won't take the other answer.

The point is to try and stop them from making new class suggestions before even getting to high levels, and even then, to just point out the stupid parts of their new classes (which there are often a LOT of), and to show them that they really need to think things through before they suggest it. I'm not trying to discourage people from playing Wynncraft or from the forums, I'm just trying to discourage them from coming up with new classes that we don't need.

That's the generic fetch - quest structure though. the npc says "oh no, i lost [whatever they lost], can you help me?" Then you have to go fetch a certain item and fight a boss whilke you're at it, then get back to them and then the quest is over.

I completely agree with Wynnonymous, you don't need fast travel to everywhere, It'll just mean you wont have to do any proper travelling.

The fact is, the ocean needs a fast travel, but Wynn doesn't. In the ocean, there is nothing to do but swim aslong and then get fed up because it's such slow going.
