Remove Crafting Levels

Make it so buying a level 100 bow with base stats isn't worth it. You'd need to find rare and valuable crafting materials in order to make weapon or armor piece that does something worth while.

 

This is already in the game.

 

why is it needed?

 

Without them the economy will 100% break.

 

how will it 100% break? how will this single requirement out of like 6 break the economy?

 

If getting materials is rare, then there's no problem. Just remove the crafting level and let the rarity of the materials fix the economy.

- Crafting levels have a use and we don't plan to remove them (progression might be too slow in the mid-game, but it's hard to tell atm)

It's not really optional. Loot chests have been heavily skewed towards crafting materials, so you can't really ignore it. Problem is that it's so boring and grindy to craft things.

It is not. Most, or a lot of threads gets locked because of negativity. I'm not saying that they do lock a lot of threads because that doesn't happen often really, but when it do, it's mostly because of negative attitude, and people being immature. So it is not a lame reason.

 

What I mean is that the most "negative" thing I've said is "Did you listen to what I said?". That's the only thing that can be considered negative attitude. Unless you meant calling the CT stubborn, in which case, really? That's too negative and deserves a shutdown? No.
