    Hello, it's me again.
I'm here with a real big quest suggestion here.
This is a quest idea which takes place in the sky islands, that will be part of something much larger.

Quest Name: Sanctuary of the Skies
    Minimum level: 95
    Length: Long

    Stage 1: Talk with Gede.
    Rejection dialogue:
Gede: What are you doing here? Can't you see we are having difficulties at the moment?
Gede: If you want to help, it'll have to wait. Somebody with your strength couldn't possibly handle our problems.
Gede: Now, if you were something like, lets say level 95, that would be a different story.

    Quest start dialogue:
Gede: What are you doing here? Can't you see we are having difficulties at the moment?
Gede: If you want to enter this Sanctuary, I'm afraid I can't let you do that. The people here are very cautious of those with malicious intent.
Gede: We don't know if we can trust you to enter this place.
Gede: ...Well, now that I think of it, we might need somebody like you, at least if you're up to it.
Gede: You see, this sanctuary was made as a failsafe, anticipating a second coming of the splitting of the Ahm's region.
Gede: So, even if anything catastrophic like that happens again to what was left by the first event, we should still be safe.
Gede: Now, we have a machine that measures the stability of the magical forces here. It's very important for our motives.
Gede: We believe if those forces become too unstable, well...
Gede: You can take a guess at what would happen. It wouldn't be very pleasant.
Gede: The problem is that our machine is broken. We're as blind as a bat when it comes to the entire reason we made this place.
Gede: Please, for the sake of the Sky Islands, would you be willing to try and repair the machine?
Gede: Thank you so much! Our mechanic, Hank, is over near the machine. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

    After talking:
Gede: What are you waiting for? Hurry over, this is very important!

    Stage 2: Talk to Hank.
As you walk over, Hank can be seen tinkering with the machine.
    Hank: ...Stupid blasted machine!
Hank: Hm? Oh, hello. I'm assuming you heard my, er, slight outburst. I can assure you, it is with good reason.
Hank: Surely you are here to assist in fixing this machine, correct? Of course, that's the only reason you are even here in the first place.
Hank: You see, I already know how to fix this machine. The problem lies in actually carrying out that fix.
Hank: Inside of the machine, the core has malfunctioned. As you can see, the sheer size of this machine makes it very difficult to get there.
Hank: Even worse, this entire machine is just a giant death puzzle to stop people from getting to the core with malicious intent. It's filled with traps if a puzzle is failed.
Hank: We need somebody powerful, like you who may be able to withstand the traps to go and replace it.
Hank: Make sure you have plenty of potions with you, damage may be unavoidable.
    Hank: Good luck, soldier.

    The player receives [1 Core].

    After talking:
Hank: I understand if you are fearful of what may happen inside, but now is not the time to wait around.
Hank: All of us here are depending on you. Make us proud.

    Stage 3: Enter the machine.

After entering the machine, you are immediately met with electricity cannons. Failure to reach the safespot in time results in being hit by the cannons, losing 10% of your max HP, regardless of your defense or agi. Stepping on any of the pressure plates on the way to the safe spot will result in immediate firing of the cannons.
Warning: Entry forbidden. Defensive measures will be taken in 10 seconds.

Stage 4: Make your way to the core.
After the electricity trap, you must solve a group of 3 puzzles. These puzzles are similar to a sudoku puzzle, but are 4x4 rather than 9x9. If you mark a box incorrectly, fire jets will open out of the wall. This is impossible to avoid, and will deal 5% of max HP, regardless of your defense or agi.
Incorrect input detected. Attempt to remove source will be carried out.

Upon completion of the puzzle, the floor will open below your feet. The player will land in a pool of water. Outside of the water is a parkour section, starting normal, before branching off into multiple possible paths. Blocks will be scattered all around, each with pressure plates on them. Choosing the wrong blocks (wooden plate) versus the correct blocks (stone plate) will cause it to disappear, dropping the player onto spikes, and send them back to the start. The spikes deal 20% of the players max HP.
Reset button has been pressed. Course will be refreshed.

After completing the parkour, the player will be boosted up into a long room. A wall of electricity cannons are in the back, and the player must answer a set of 3 true or false questions. These will be answered by pressing a button. Failure to answer them in time or answering wrong will result in the electricity cannons firing and hitting the player, dealing 10% of their max hp.
Question 1: Set items are rarer than rare items.
    False
Question 2: Answering this question wrong will result in the electricity cannons firing upon you.
    True
Question 3: You are about to finish the easy half of these puzzles.
    True
Questions correctly answered. You may proceed.

The doors open, and you begin the second half of the path to the core, which is significantly harder than the first half.
    Welcome to hell.

The player must defeat an AI at a game of tic tac toe. The player always goes first. However, the AI will never lose unless you make your turn in the exact same spot as the AI did. This glitches the system and it explodes, leading into another room. If the AI wins or ties against you, TNT rains from the ceiling, doing 20% of the players max HP. The way to win is hinted by a sign nearby, saying "Warning: Program susceptible to glitches and unexpected inputs."
    Error: Unable to compute input.

In the next room, the player is instantly greeted with the same thing as the very first obstacle, but on a mch more difficult scale. A safe zone is marked with particles, and electric cannons fire from the ceiling. The cannon fires 10 times, with 4 seconds between each. The safe zone is 1x2. If hit, the player will take 25% of their max HP.
Warning: Attempts to proceed forward will be faced with lethal force.

After that, the player will move on to the final room. Being the final room, it is also the most difficult by an extremely long shot. When entering, there will be turrets on all 4 sides of the room. They fire arrow storms periodically. Along with that, there is a timer on one side of the room that counts down from 10, and a game on the other side, which is somewhat like the new flying section in Royal Trials. The player must avoid being hit by the turrets, keep the timer from going to zero, and control the ship to the end of the course. The whole ordeal lasts around 60 seconds.
Final test completed. You may now access the core.

    Stage 5: Replace the core.
There is an NPC in the center of the room called "Core". By interacting with it, you get the message.
"You have replaced the defective core. It's probably a good idea to tell the mechanic about this."
You also receive the item, [1 Defective Core]. This is a quest item, and will be used in a sequel. The exit is at the back of the room, which teleports you nearby Hank.

Stage 6: Tell the mechanic about your success.
Hank: You did it? I can't say I'm surprised. I could tell by the look on your face that you could manage something like this.
Hank: Now that it's fixed, lets give it a run and see how everything is.
The machine whirrs to life. You can hear small beeps on the inside.
    Hank: ...
Hank: This...can't be right, can it?
Hank: T-this, there's no- h-how can something like this be true?
Hank: Hey, Gede, come over here for a moment please, would you?
Gede: What's the matter here? The core was successfully replaced, right?
Hank: Y-yes, but, I...I can't comprehend how this could happen, look at the machine results!
Gede: What in the world? N-, there's no way these results are accurate, is there?
Hank: I can guarantee they are. This machine has never given inaccurate results.
Gede: We need to inform the people here. This is a serious situation. Soldier, are you aware of what these results mean?
Gede: You see, the more unstable the forces and magic are, the greater the danger of these islands splitting again.
Gede: This machine shows the readings at its highest possible level of instability. For all we know, the Sky Islands could rupture right now, while we speak.
Gede: And...I can't help but wonder...could that, Sky Fortress have anything to do with this? Oh, never mind.
Gede: While the results were unfortunate, I can't thank you enough for what you have done. Please, let us invite you into our sanctuary.

    Quest Rewards:
    1 [Defective Core]
    12288 [Emeralds]
    4250000 XP
Access to the Sanctuary of the Skies

The Sanctuary of the Skies, which I will now call SotS for short, is an endgame area. It consists of a bank, identifier, item buyers, a grinding spot, a boss altar, a weapon merchant, and a hidden area.

This grinding spot, while currently unavailable at this point, acts as an alternative to lootrunning. While it still won't be nearly as efficient, it will be the absolute best place to grind at endgame. Inside, there are 3 types of mobs, Angel of Wisdom, Angel of Wealth, and Angel of Armory. They are level 94-96, and have 20k HP. The Angel of Wisdom gives XP similar to the "Dragonling of the Depths", the Angel of Wealth drops a large amount of emeralds, and the Angel of Armory has a very high item drop rate. Spawn rates are extremely high. The room is approximately the same size as the Wybel arena, and is completely flat. This area has a very, very high danger level. The mobs hit hard, and are relatively hard to kill. This is to make up for their huge xp yield and drop rates. They also will drop untradable items called "Angel's Wing".

The Boss Altar would be currently unavailable at this point. I won't give too much info here because spoilers. To activate it, you would need to drop 16 angel wings into it. The boss inside would be at the same caliber of Cybel, and the minimum recommended level would be 100. It's drops would be similar to that of the Boss Altar near Troms, with the items acting as a currency which is used with the weapon merchant.

The hidden room is a small place, which is opened by dropping emeralds onto all carpets that have a different color from the rest. Inside, there are signs that say:
"We felt energy coming from that old sky fortress. It's very dark energy, and highly unstable as well. Unfortunately, our machine is broken and we can't confirm anything about it. If only there was some way to go down and confirm it...".

Finally, I have made an exclusive song that plays when inside the SotS. Enjoy!

I hope you like it. Please leave me feedback so I know what I can do better for the next quests!

I love the quest idea, the only thing that I think should change is the level. There is already a high xp quest at level 95.

not that quests help leveling in high levels
that dont give enough exp to compensate for their unavailability combined with the level requirements

On a serious note, I like it, but isn't it a little bit too much like Heart of Llevigar in terms of story and setting?

I think the quest is great, however it's too text heavy. No one will read all that text, not even me. But great story, and i love the fact that you reference to what Ahm did to the region.

The music was great, but at the end you should shorten it down, so there is less time between the sounds.

Similarities may lie in setting, but in terms of story, not quite as much.
In Heart of Llevigar, the problem is the power generator. It happens to be running out of power, which puts the whole city of Llevigar in danger.
In Sanctuary of the Skies, their machine has already broken. Fixing it will not remove any danger, but will simply make them become aware of it. Not only that, this quest leads to an entire questline which I am currently in the middle of making.

I like your quest, but this is basically the Corruption-Decay issue. The Decay gets a lot of shit for it so this should too.

OMG, I am honestly amazed and I really want this in the game, it would really help us endgame players with the sanctuary especially since we have barely anything to do. I cannot think of anything that you need to improve on, this is honestly amazing, I really hope you can do more Wynn or Corkus related quest suggestions.
