Why Assasain Is Fine As It Is.

    So, these past weeks I have been seeing a ton of complaint about the Assasain class.
    Yes, you can have your own opinion on the class on why it is bad or good, but I want to explain why it should not be buffed.

    Spells:
    Spin attack:
    This spell is pretty good in my opinion, it does damage in a radius of about 3 blocks and steals effect plus removes negative effects, this is useful for when a boss gives you a rebuff like blindness, or in duels when a Mage ice snakes you or a Archer blinds you.
    Vanish:
    I don't see why people hate this spell... It gives you strength makes you invisible to mobs and gives you speed three. Yes it's bad as the "movement" spell of the class but its really the only movement spell in the game that can be used to fight things, yes the other ones do damage but this makes you do more damage overall and can be used very strategically.
    Multi Hit:
    This one is pretty okay, if combined with vanish it does a ton of damage but it's mana cost makes it kinda impractical but it gets better as it levels up not much else to say other than good with spell combos.
    Smoke Bomb:
    This is my favorite Assasain spell, it's basically the crowd control spell you can throw into a group of mobs, again utilizing vanish or do a ton of damage to a boss.

    Play style:
    Assasain is the class that requires the most skill, you need to use all of your spells with your other spells to be a good Assasain, you also need to be able to utilitize the terrain and avoid damage.
    I feel like people expect all the classes to be OP tanks that take no damage and do a shitton of damage, your not supposed to be able to kill things to easily otherwise the game would be boring, people shit on Assasain because they don't realize that its not a class you can just solo everything with like Mage.

    On the first melee or on your spells it does more damage, it doesent give you a 3 minute boost like warscream

    Yeah, but it acts like a backstab: one hit, only. After that you're no longer vanished. Sure, it's not a bad spell, but it's definitely the worst movement spell.

    Anyway, Assassin is pretty much fine as is, so yeah, you're right.

    This paragraph bugs me, let's figure out why

    High skill cap = good. No issue here

    People are correct half the time, with mage and warrior

    Going beyond the your (@LarzLapiz) nothing in this game presents a real challenge, but that's not really a class issue, moving on

    Here is the issue. You are explicitly stating that there is a class unbalance, which supports a rebalancing. Now such an update would likely consist of a mage nerf, but still. The fact remains that even though Assasain requires skill, executing on that does not make it stronger then the other classes, as it should. It instead a brings you close to their power level.
    If I were to rate classes on power vs skill here are my thoughts (system is 1-10,
    max power|skill required for max power|min power| average strength, all lv 100)

    Mage:
    10|4|8|9|
    Arguably the strongest class, with any skill at all it is immortal, even with poor skill it is still outstandingly strong.

    Warrior
    9|5.25|6.5|7.75|
    Warrior is just generally strong. It's ability to Aboose glitches exceeds all other classes by a mile, likely balanced, but pushed upwards by the current meta/glitches.

    Archer
    7|6.5|4|5.5|
    Archer is a little weak right now, but to its inability to be immortal and the weakness of most of its mythics. Pushed down by the current meta

    Assassin
    9|9.5|3|6|
    While it's average score is above archer, it's massive amount if skill lowers it. Even the highest level of play fails to stop sarriors and mages

    Overall, I would agree that an assassin buff is unneeded, a Mage nerf is certainly required, warrior should fix itself with time

    I mean, assassin isn't mobile or anything, but holyshit it is op as fuck. I could solothe Ice Barrows with a lv 37 assassin, which the only class that I can also do that with is a heal spamming mage, which puts assassin infront of archer and warrior

    I agree but half of the complaint threads are by people who expect Assasain to be like Mage or warrior

    I think you mean debuff for Mage, and yes Assasain is pretty weak if your not good at it, but if it got buffed it would become the new meta class, most of its abilities are really good people just don't know how they can be utilized

    and I am not a light theme user
    Just was trying to find out what Journey, and no journey have in common

    Anyway
    Lets take a look
    Spells:
    Spin attack:
    This spell is pretty good in my opinion, it does damage in a radius of about 3 blocks and steals effect plus removes negative effects, this is useful for when a boss gives you a rebuff like blindness, or in duels when a Mage ice snakes you or a Archer blinds you.
    1. Mages spell, way better status remover and healer (no damage) but it more than makes up for it
    2. Archer, does damage in a "sort-of" Aoe area in front of the place, can be adjusted to just attack a single strong mob, or multiple in front of you
    3. Warrior, Bash does AOE in front of you, more damage, not much to say
    4.Assasin, A relatively good spell, but low damage. Just look at archer. 20 x 60 = 1200% If all land. Warrior does 260% plus debuffs, mage heal is just OP AF


    Vanish:
    I don't see why people hate this spell... It gives you strength makes you invisible to mobs and gives you speed three. Yes it's bad as the "movement" spell of the class but its really the only movement spell in the game that can be used to fight things, yes the other ones do damage but this makes you do more damage overall and can be used very strategically.
    1. Mage does pure damage, and status effects such as blindness, which is better than the next hit doing a bit more damage.. Tp can also be used strategically (100% damage)
    2. Escape, By far one of the best movement spells in game, +like 180% walkspeed, Does damage, Allows you to reach far up (100% damage + like 180% walkspeed)
    3. Warrior, a simple movement spell, which deals lots of damage to swarms (150% damage)
    4. Assasin, Does not give movements buffs until TIER 3, and its buff does 30% more damage on 1 hit, which actually isn't that much, its a minor buff


    Multi Hit:

    1. Combined with vanish it is not a ton, as attacking exits vanish, so only 1 hit does bonus right? but multi hit is 10 hits, so only one should be boosted (correct if wrong) and even so it costs 7 mana for this, while many other classes have more damaging spells for less mana

    You said it yourself,
    Assassin is the weakest class
    So your saying to leave it as it is, to leave it weak, so its more challenging to play the game.
    And in pvp you can never win

    Thats why you first cast multihit/smoke bomb and then vanish because that way your vanish stays active and i believe your hits still get the dmg buff which makes it really really nice to use :p

    Here's my problem with assassin:
    Spin Attack: 200% base damage, 6 mana, stuns opponent, higher area of effect
    Multihit: 320% base damage, 10 mana, allows you to control opponents.
    Smoke Bomb: 540% Spell damage, 8 mana, DoT spell
    This means that PER MANA, Multihit is actually LESS EFFECTIVE (32% spell damage per mana) than Spin Attack (33.333% spell damage per mana). (Smoke bomb does make sense at 67.5% as it is hard to get every hit on an enemy.) Not only that, Multihit is doing less damage than it should be; according to Salted,
    . Instead, it's only doing 20% per hit, according to this thread https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/how-damage-is-calculated.176082/, which means it's actually doing LESS now than it used to

    1. Mage is OP
    2. The chances of landing every hit is near 0; you need to fight a mob with a large hitbox, trap it in a corner/wall, and then get close to it and then hit the shots.
    3. Warrior's Bash isn't guaranteed to land both hits, and isn't as good of a CC attack
    4. It's the best stun IN THE GAME, freezing, blinding and preventing an enemy from jumping, as well as removing all negative effects and stealing all positive one from enemies

    3. It's honestly not that good, unless you can consistently charge surf I honestly find vanish's jump to be more effective.
    4. On a tanky cataclysm build that does 30k spins, for example, that's 9k more damage.

    tbh assassin's vanish could be longer, arrow shield is op, heal needs a rework, and warrior is only op because of glitches (not to say it's bad)
