December 24th
woke up at the middle of the night and moved to a mattress because a beanbag isn't that comfy.
woke up at the morning with a cat on my lap, I got up and tried to remember where am I ( I haven't been there since April)
we went to the kitchen and helped with making breakfast
ate breakfast and then continued to do nothing in particular.
went it started getting late we went to help the local youth group with the fire performance for the first candle of Hanukah.
me and Aia took bottles of diesel and poured them to make the cloth extra flammable.
then we went with bags filled with sand and put them along the road with candles inside them.
when the event started all the elementary school kids came running with torches (which was pretty damn cool)
then they lit flying candle things which were beautiful.
then I realized we are also having a family dinner at my place tonight and if I want to get there on time I have to take the first train.
so we left the event early and drove to the train station (still with a suspicious 12kg bag).
I got there on time and before we said goodbye we hugged and gave each other a little peck on the lips.
I managed to board the first train but by the time I got home everyone was gone ;-;
I emptied my bag, tidied up, took a shower and went to sleep.

turns out I forgot my thermal pants there and that now I have her pants, socks and two of her dad's shirts.

December 25th
woke up and got to school
my friends were kinda curious how the screening process went and where I was on the weekend.
they were shocked on how harsh the screening was and they had mixed feelings about my weekend.
turns out while I was gone the heart of our friend group (three girls) had a fight so now the whole group is split between the two sides and aren't sure what to do.
while I was at school a diesel container near Haifa caught on fire (we talking 12,000 cubic meters of diesel)
I had a driving lesson right after school and the teacher told me he was nearby the tank and told me what happened there.
because the whole tank was still flaming after a couple of hours I had to change some of my plans.
I was supposed to have a meeting as the board of a nearby college gifted kids program but we had to cancel because of the fire and the smoke.
when I got home I ate, showered and got a bag ready for the seminar I will have tomorrow.

 

December 26th
its the first day of Hanukah so it means I'm on vacation, I started this vacation with a two day seminar which both of my ex's attend. one which I still love and one I still hate, the one I love doesn't love me back and the one I hate Still wants me.
I woke up early in the morning and took the train to Haifa.
there I met with everybody (including the two ex's)
from there we took a bus to a school in Haifa for the welcoming event.
we started by knowing and introducing all of the new guys.
from there we split into 3 groups each went to a different part of the city.
each group split into parties of twos and threes.
I was in the German colony in Haifa.
after we finished walking around and interviewing people we grouped up again and went to the metro.
from there we took the metro to the Japanese museum on the mountain.
on the way back I sat next to the ex I still love and asked her to be mine again, she rejected me.
we both miss the days when we were together, we sat together occasionally kissing in silence all the way to our hotel in Acre.
when we got off the bus the rest of the people and a mix of expressions, the vetern guys knew us and looked sad as they know what happened, the new peeps were a bit confused as why is everyone sad.
we walked to a hall where we were split into our rooms, I took a room with 2 vets and three new ones.
we just put our stuff in the room and went to eat dinner.
dinner was fun, most of the vets sat together in one table with me and my ex and we joked and exchanged stories.
the food was also good so that's a plus.
after dinner we went to another hall were we continued with our activities (we wrote a song).
mid way some of the students that finished the project last year came to pay us a visit which was nice.
during the activity me and my ex realized that our breakup stories don't match up with each other so we went aside to get things straight.
as we tend to do, we somehow found our way to the roof and sat on the windy stairs and talked.
somehow the talk turned into kissing and making out against the Acre skyline (it was night so everything was pretty).

during everything some people went up on the roof so we had to take breaks or walk around the roof pretending we were innocent.
after about 4 hours we agreed that we should go back.
we agreed that the moment we go back inside everything is over and we are over.
we went back to everyone and shortly after went each to their room (she has to leave early tomorrow)
in my room my other ex (which I hate) was in bed with someone else watching a horror movie.
I waited until the movie was over, shushed all the new guys to sleep and went to sleep at ~2am.

I wish I could

 

December 27th
we woke up at 7:30 and starte waking everyone in our room.
we had to throw a kid out of bed.
at 8 we were in the dining room to eat breakfast (it was good)
mid breakfast my ex had to leave (she ahd another seminar she couldn't miss) so I gave her back her cloths and walked her to the car and we hugged goodbye
then I continued breakfast and went upstairs to the room to pack my stuff.
turns out she forgot her light saber and I forgot to give her her socks so we need to meet up again.
then I sat on the couches in the lobby for an hour talking to some kids.
after that we went on a bus and drove to another hotel.
there we had a massive just dance competition (it was a mess).
after that we continued to work on the data we gathered from the day before.
mid way we had lunch (it was great)
we had to make something visual to represent it so we made a Christmas tree, a hannukia and the crescent moon.
after we each showed what we made I had to go cause I had an appointment up north.
so I left at around 3pm and my dad and two brothers picked me up and they brought burgerim (its a fast food store that makes small burgers).
so I ate 3 burgers and a box of wings, delicious.
my brother was in charge of the aux cord and we have similar tastes so it was a fun ride.
we got to kiriat shmona and went through with our appointment.
when we started heading back we ate the remaining burgers and napped.
we got home at around 7pm.
we ate dinner, took a shower and went to sleep.
