October 1st Monday
we woke up late and spent some time together
at the evening aya had to go on a bus to her commune so I went on a bus back home because I had to be a representative at a memorial ceremony in Haifa tomorrow

 

October 2nd Tuesday
I stayed at home until noon and then took a bus to Haifa's military cemetery and participated in a memorial of a soldier that died 50 years ago.
after that I took a bus back home and talked with aya for a bit

 

October 5th Friday
tbh I don't remember anything from this day

October 6th Saturday
my cousin celebrated her bat-mitzvah so we had a bbq and a party for her
her young baby cousin was there and I played with her a lot cause babies are cute
then we went back home and I went over me and aya's pictures and backed them up in a folder

 

This thread would probably be really interesting to read in its entirety.

October 11th Thursday
I finished working at the base and took a bus to Jerusalem.
aya met me there and we walked to her commune, there I changed to civilian clothing and helped the commune cook dines, we made a vegan lasagna and boiled and salted greens.
it was yummy.
after that we sat down and chatted into the night.
they had to go to sleep kinda early cause they had a seminar tomorrow.

 

October 12th Friday
Aya kissed me goodbye early and went to a seminar in another city.
I stayed till 10am and then took a bus to her home.
We cooked together and baked some cinnamon rolls, it was a great day and we watched a lot of movies.

 

October 13th Saturday
We woke up and went home, friends of the family visited them with a baby and a toddler so we played with them for hours (I like babies)
We cooked a lasgna and some potatoes and ate dinner with her uncle and cousins
After that we went back to her room and went to sleep

 

October 18th Thursday
I slept at my aunt because I had some tests for officers course.
So I went there really early and it was actually quite fun.
They tested how can we act in a group or as commanders and had an interview.
After that I ate lunch with one of the the others nominees.
Then I took a bus to tel Aviv and waited for a bus.
I took a lot of busses cause the mechina is meeting up in one of our houses.
I stopped on the way to buy beers and snacks.
Then I missed the bus and gor stuck so they came to pick me up with their car.
We watched some movies and drank and talked until we got tired and went to sleep.

 

October 19th Friday
We woke up and ate a fresh loaf of bread with fancy spreads for breakfast.
Then we drove and started to drop everyone off along the route.
They dropped me at a train station and I took the train back home.
My brother picked me up and we went to eat Khachapuri (basically a burkas).
Then I did nothing for the rest of the day.

 

October 20th Saturday
Woke up and went to buy new clothes (got a nice shirt)
We also bought some new kitchen stuff and some food.
Didn't really do much the rest of the day.

 

October 25th Thursday
I finished work in the base
A friend was in the same base with a car so she drove me to tell Aviv
From there I took a bus to Jerusalem and met up with aya
We went out to eat pasta and bought some beers and chips.
We sat and talked, the gap year is being really rough on her.
Then we said goodbye and I took a bus to haifa

 

October 26th Friday
Woke up and didn't do much
At the evening we went to my grandparents for Shabbat dinner.
We ate so much, I had lox and fish and ravioli.
Meanwhile my brother met up with some friends back home.
Turns out one of my friends also came and they didn't tell me.
So I sat down and joined them for the night.

 

October 27th Saturday
woke up, I rearranged my closet and brought out my winter cloths and made sure they all fit.
didn't do much for the rest of the day

 

November 1st Thursday
Finished work at the base pretty late (we have an inspection next week)
I got all the china cups from the kitchen, wrapped them up and brought them to aya's commune.
Me and aya unpacked the cups and went to her assignment (no kids showed up but we could talk so it was nice)
After that she walked me to the central bus station.
I took a bus to the mechina and spent the evening with them.
We talked a lot, they were curious about a lot of stuff.

 

November 2nd Friday
Woke up in the sand took a bus to aya's
We watched a movie and cooked a bit but didn't do much for most of the day

 

November 3rd Saturday
We went to watch the nutcracker in cinema, it was meh.
Nice effects but it lacks a plot

 

November 8th Thursday
Finished work at the base and met a friend from the mechina at tell aviv.
We went to eat together and then met with another friend.
They drove me to another mechina friend and left and I drove with them to tel Aviv to meet more friends and eat together.
We walked around and did nothing.
Then I returned with one of the friends to her house and slept there.

 

November 9th Friday
Woke up and made pancakes with the friend from mechina.
She drove me to the train and I got on atrain to gat.
Aya's cousin picked me up from the station and I chilled at her room for a couple of hours until she came home from Jerusalem.

 

November 10th Saturday
We just chilled and watched a movie, honestly I don't remember much
