July 28th 2018
woke up late and did a squat workout
played a bit on the pc and ate lunch
then I watched Brooklyn with my parents, great movie
after that I played some more on the computer
after that I drove my brother to his friends house.
then we ate dinner, sweet potato and beans thingies with salad and Tahini
after that some more time on the computer and that's it

 

August 1st 2018 Wednesday
Got out of base pretty late and went to Aya's house, she's been leading a summer camp for her youth group so she hasn't been home in two weeks.
We cooked her dinner and went to get her from the bus station.
We ate together then went to sleep in her new room

 

August 3rd 2018 Friday
We woke up late and went to eat humus with her cousins.
Then we did nothing for the rest of the day.

 

August 4th 2018 Saturday
We woke up late and ate breakfast
I did my laundry
Then we watched a movie
After that we started making Muhallebi it was really yummy.
We also made peirogi


We watched another movie an be went to a recruitment party of Aya's cousin.
Then we grabbed my laundry and went to sleep

 

August 9th Thursday 2018
We had some rockets fired at us but meh.
We stayed late in the base and then my boss drove me to the train station.
I got home really late, ate dinner, did my laundry and went to sleep.

 

August 10th Friday 2018
Woke up really early and put my laundry in the dryer, meanwhile I ate breakfast.
I made myself sandwiches and got on a bus to Jerusalem.
I dropped my bags at the mechina and waited for a friend.
We went to eat in Jerusalem and buy drinks.
After that we went back to the mechina and collected the catering for the weekend.
Then the other guys started to arrive.
Our head of mechina came to visit and talked with us.
We got ready for Shabbat.
Sang songs on the grass in the kibbutz.
Prayed, and started the Kiddush.
We ate and talked and sang and started the Tish.
Mid way me and another girl went out to buy toilet paper.
We stayed up late and talked and then went to sleep.

 

August 11th Saturday 2018
I woke up early and went to read a book in the sun.
After a while the rest woke up and our mechina counselor came to visit.
We had a quick lesson, ate lunch and talked for a bit.
We played a couple of group games and cleaned the mechina.
We did a havdala, hugged and went home.
I took a bus to Aya and spent the night there.

 

August 16th Wednesday 2018
I woke up and went to the office
we finished work at around 14:00 and I got on a bus to aya
I had a great time, we ate and watched a movie.
after that we went to sleep early cause I had to go back to base tomorrow

 

September 8th Saturday 2018
we woke and went to a trip in the galilee.
we went to the alma cave which goes 100 meters underground on a 500 meter track.
it was really fun climbing down the cave.
after that we went to the manara cliff for a 20 meter snap link.
we also did a sideways climb which was very fun.
after that we ate at a Syrian restaurant, it was very yummy.
then I drove back home and went to sleep.

 

September 9th-11th rosh hashana
took a train to aya
we spent the holiday together and cooked and ate a lot.
on Thursday she had to return to Jerusalem so I stayed in the kibbutz and went to base on Wednesday

 

September 14th-15th
I went home from base and we went on a trip to a cave in the north that goes 500meters bellow the ground, it was really fun.
after that we climbed down a cliff near the border and went to eat at a Syrian restaurant.

 

September 18th-19th Yom Kipur
I went with my mother for grocery shopping.
I bought some Austrian salami and salted butter and fresh bread.
we ate lunch and then I took the car and picked up a girl that finished the mechina a year before me and we drove to a youth hostel the mechina rented out for yom kippur.
550 people showed up.
all my mechina came except one guy who was at base.
we talked and played taki and ate together.
mostly we talked into the night, one girl flirted with me.
I also did a workout with a friend and missed the havdala because of him.
we packed everything quickly and left the hostel.
I drove back home and went to sleep.

September 21th-24th Sukkot
I woke up and ate breakfast.
After that I took a train to my gf.
On the 22nd we went to a family meeting, it was yummy. After that we went on a trip in the country side through Canada park.
We found a wounded eagle and took him to the hospital.
We kept walking in the woods then returned home.
On the 23rd we stayed home, friends of the family came to visit and played on the guitar and violin for us.
We also watched Mulan and I'm singing in the rain.
On the 24th we woke up late and ate lunch, then my gf went to meet friends so I stayed home and watched Shakespear in love.

 

September 25th
we woke up and did nothing until noon, aya took a bus to Jerusalem and I took a train to tel aviv.
I went to Icon and bought a game for a friend and a board game for myself (kings of Israel, its a pandemic styled game)
there was also a betting stage where you roll 6 dice and win a prize, entering costs 10nis and every result from 6 to 36 wins a prize.
the 16-26 were worthless prizes (cards and pokemon pouches) and the rest were good board games (some even costing 700nis). at first glance you might think its a good idea, every result wins and its only 10 nis, but when you roll 6 dice you get around 45,000 possible results and less than a hundred win you a board game so fuck that shit don't bet.
then I took a train home, ate dinner and went to sleep.

September 26th Wednesday
I woke up and went to Icon with my brother that just returned from peru this time
we walked around and ate in a restaurant named "the restaurant" we both had burgers.
we didn't do much but walk around and talk with people.
we then took a train home and went to sleep late.

 

September 27th Thursday
Woke up at 10 and saw a text that aya is going to be at icon at 11.
Got ready quick and went with my brother again to tel Aviv.
There I met up with aya and her sister and we walked around.
We bought a couple of books in the second hand store (politically correct fairytales, dragon Rider and my brother bought me the second book of dimension W).
We met up with her family and played around in the sword arena.
Then we went to sarona market to eat some fries, aya and me went to buy some wok and blue cheese.
After that we walked around some more until she had to go back to her commune.
When we got to the train there was a lot of commotion because some guy jumped under the train.
All the way back home some guy never stopped talking to me which was pretty annoying.

 

September 28th Friday
didn't do much
at the evening I went to eat dinner with my grandparents at a burger place, I had a spicy Mexican burger.
then we watched "searching", great movie 8/10 would recommend.
after that we took a bus home and went to sleep

 

September 29th Saturday
sewed a hole in my pockets shut
bought a mint and aloysia plant to bring back to base.
I shaved and packed a bag to go visit aya.

 

September 30th Sunday
its still sukkot so I took a train to aya and spent the day with her, we made cinnamon rolls and cooked a lot
