February 12th Monday
We decided we're gonna do 300 push ups a day until the end of the mechina.
We had final classes with some of the lecturers.
At night had a meliaa about finale stuff (ceremonies and gifts).
After that I texted Aya and went to sleep.

 

February 13th Tuesday
I woke up and made breakfast (oatmeal, granola and salads)
we had some last classes.
at the evening we went to telzstone to say goodbye to the haredi guys we visited every once in a while.
then I texted aya and went to sleep.

 

February 14th Wednesday (Valentine)
we had a screening day, there were great guys this time.
I made a gift for Aya a heart shaped candle with red drippings on it.
we had final classes.
worked a bit on gifts for the staff.
at night I wrote aya a poem and sent it to her.

 

February 15th Thursday
we had some outside lecturers come and talk with us.
the tivon branch came and slept at out place for the night.
instead of going to eat with the families of the kibbutz I went with another girl to another branch of the mechina to join the "elder council" (its a council of anyone that finished the mechina and wants to help organize events). I joined the team working on the Independence day event.
after that we came back and went to sleep early cause we have a race tomorrow.

 

February 16th Friday
we woke up really early and ate breakfast (I just made myself sandwiches)
then we got on a bus to the race (its a 10k one)
because I was hurt (I hurt my knee) I helped at a water stand.
after that we went to a ceremony with the rest of the branches (tivon took our outside carpets and tiberia forgot their speaker on our bus)
then we drove back to the mechina, its our final Shabbat together.
it was the best Shabbat we ever had and we had the longest tish ever.
I texted Aya and sent her some pictures of cats and went to sleep.

 

February 17th Saturday
woke up early and read my book, it rained like crazy at the morning
at noon we had a super strong sun and continued with the normal Shabbat stuff.
we played capture the flag in the kibbutz.
I play fighted against two other kids, lost one won one.
then we had havdala and dinner.
at night we had a movie night we watched Deadpool and then the other woman.
then I texted aya goodnight and went to sleep.

 

February 18th Sunday
We cancelled the strecher wake up march cause we were all injured so three of us slept in the classroom.
We started a new thing this week where each room is in charge of a styled meal, we made pad thai for lunch.
We had final classes with our madrichot.
Aya came cause why not.
Then a final class with our krav maga instructor.
We had American dinner so hamburger and fries.
Then we had a dance party until late at night and went to sleep.

 

February 19th Monday
We woke up and had breakfast
Aya joined us for a couple of classes then I walked her to the bus stop and kissed her goodbye.
We had Japanese lunch so sushi and stir fry.
At the evening we had the goodbye ceremony with our families.
We gave them most of our equipment and went to sleep.

 

February 20th Tuesday
we woke up, had a normal breakfast
we had final classes with some lecturers
we made spring rolls for dinner (management committee covered for the staff cause they had some stuff to do)
then we had an evening to say goodbye to the mechina
we each got another kid to imitate in different situations
the staff imitated each other and made a quick stand up about us
we made a parody of a kids book about the other branches and about the mechina
at night we made a camp fire with smoked tuna and tea and went to sleep.​

 

February 21st Wednesday
we had an Italian breakfast (home made pizza and ice cream).
we cleaned the mechina all day.
had a goodbye from the kibbutz and gave them our gifts (we recreated pictures of the old kibbutz).
then we had a Mexican dinner made by our Mexican immigrant.
at dinner we decided we wont do a stretcher march but we will walk at 5am to a town nearby with a lookout so well see the sunrise.
after all that I stayed up to tidy up the storage area and wrote notes to the next mechina with the other management member. I wrote the international and tips to next year with some quotes.
then I tested aya goodnight and went to sleep.

 

February 22nd Thursday
we woke up at 5 and walked to see the sunrise from a lookout.
when we got back we ate a French breakfast (French toast, croissants, pastries and fruit salad)
then I made a list of everything in the mechina.
then we filled out a google form about the mechina, I finished early so the head of the mechina talked with me for a while, he said he really appreciated the work I put into the mechina and into the group.
after that we has a summary of the year with everyone.
then we continued to clean everything and empty our rooms.
I went to buy bread and stuff for lunch.
we left at around 1600 for a BBQ but there was a lot of traffic.
we made steaks kebabs and chicken.
after that we exchanged gifts and said goodbyes, there was a lot of hugging and crying. Ive lived with all of them for 6 months, they were a second family to me.
shani drove me to the train station, I took a train home and my mom picked me up from there.

 

February 23rd Friday
I re decorated my wall with all the stuff from the mechina
I got my EPA card in the mail, now I can ticket people that throw trash out of their car.
I also went grocery shopping, bought meslf some nice fish and smoked cheese.
at home I made a jar of pickles.
tbh didn't do much that day, mainly laundry and unpacking.

 

February 24th Saturday
I woke up ate breakfast and drove my to little Switzerland (a nature reserve in mt.Carmel)
Then we drive home and ate lunch.
I watched the death of Stalin (an ok movie).
Tbh didn't do much that day.
At night I texted Aya goodnight and went to sleep.

 

February 25th Sunday
I woke up really early and went to the gifted program I went to until 9th grade.
I am helping them with continuing the program for high school.
So I met up with my teachers and talked with them.
Then I joined them for a Purim party (Purim is a Jewish holiday where we dress up, drink, and give presents to each other).
Then I hijacked a class and taught them how to build rujums.
I left early for a ride home.
Then I went to eat out with my brother and grandparents, we went to a burger place and ordered great burgers.
After that I slept during noon
I watched a man named ove (great money) and real steel (an ok movie).
Don't remember what I did for the rest of the day.

 

February 26th Monday
I saw the new star wars, its ok
at 6 I started making my way to Jerusalem (I have a thing in the parliament tomorrow)
I missed my first bus, the second one got stuck behind the one I missed that broke down
because of that I missed my express bus to Jerusalem so I took a train
the train stopped midway cause someone committed suicide on the tracks
so everyone went out of the station to try catch a bus
then another train came so I got on it, it had to slow down next to the body, his legs are gone
then I got to tel aviv and took a bus to Jerusalem, a friend picked me up and I stayed at her house for the night.

 

February 27th Tuesday
we woke up and ate breakfast
then she drove me to the bus station
I took a bus to the Jerusalem central station and walked from there to the parliament
there I met up with a friend and we watched a panel of two parliament members and other guys
there were a lot of old guys so we decided to join someone from the mechina staff that now works in the parliament
he was late so we just walked around
we met the head of the Hassidic party and he invited us in, we got parliament pins and he got us a sit in the economics committee when they talked about the budget for the education ministry (the biggest budget) it was great, there were a ton of parliament members and we stayed there for more than an hour.
after that I went to the bazaar with a friend and ate burgers

after that we took a bus to the central station and then to the mechina
atm there is a program for lone soldiers there that some of the mechina guys run.
so we visited them (I bought a cider cause why not)
it was weird being there again without everyone.
we stayed for a bit and joined the purim party the kibutz had
then we took a bus to the interchange, there was a US military thing so the road was closed so I got on a different bus to tel aviv and then took a train north.

 

February 28th Wednesday
Made some dough and let it rise
Volunteered at setting up a sci fi convention, it was cool.

 

March 1st Thursday
Woke up and went to the sci fi convention with my brother and his friend.
I met there an old teacher from my gifted program (we played board games with her son).
I also met a girl I talked with last year and kinda stayed in contact.
We played a lot of board games, I ate some Mongolian good and bought a game of thrones sleeveless shirt.
Then at 1800 I got on a train south to Tel Aviv.
I bought a burekas there and walked to the cinema to get my ticket for the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I met there with an old friend and Aya's friend and then Aya came late.
We watched a live performance of both shock treatment and Rocky and it was amazing.
After that we bought a pack of crackers and cheese and ate them we also went to a game store and played some board games until 2am then we took a bus to Aya's friend grandmother and slept there.

 

March 2nd Friday
we woke up at 8 and got on a bus to a junction near aya's town, we hitched a ride from there.
when we got home we just went to sleep.
we mainly slept and looked after the gooseling (it followed me the whole weekend)
at the afternoon she left for a dress rehearsal and I stayed home and made pizza for her.

 

UPDATE ABOUT WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME

So as some of you know I live in Israel and Israel has a mandatory draft (I have to go to the army for 32 months).
I'm getting recruited on March 20th, from that point forward I will leave camp once every two weeks.
I hoped to get a weekly update about whats going on with me but I'm drafting into field intelligence so that's a no no.
You'll probably get updates about my weekends and other stuff I can talk about.
you wont see me in game anymore and I wont be on the forums as much (I'll unfollow all sections).
this is me finally fading from here.
